when everyone is given a housing, it will also reduce the value of having a housing.I find it kind of baffling the way they are handling housing.... or why its taking so long. When the other MMOs that implement housing do not force such limitations on the players....
Rift - probably the best housing system pre-wildstar has no such server limitations.... and is incredibly complex.
I keep using WildStar as a benchmark, not because its new, but because they are the only devs since WoW that have managed to do everything on release. But their housing is MASSIVE..... anyone can unlock it at level 14.... without spending millions.
Final Fantasy: A grind reborn ... spend millions on a small plot of land, with what is essentially very limited functionality? not even that fun.... can't make jump puzzles, no interesting buffs or mechanics... just... purely... aesthetic. (well ok a mail box, traning dummy ect)...
What is their reasoning behind this? don't say costs... this game is putting them in the green alone.
I like the current system where not everyone is simply given a housing and that its something to work towards.
