When current progression is 50/50 LS and FC, why are we letting the 50% FC have a more dominant voice? In particular, letting Zachy and his GM, both of whom are banned from the forums, have influence over the way we are represented on said forums?

No one realized that they were added in the first place because the old thread was only updated once a week. They weren't labled as Linkshells on the list, the posts got buried so barely anyone noticed them, and the Linkshells slipped through the cracks. Seyvn said he made a mistake in adding the Linkshells and did not award them any further credit for kills. They weren't supposed to be there anyways - if anything it's because of this mistake that linkshells suddenly are latching onto this argument.

Also, 50% of the groups is TWO groups, and them being banned has literally nothing to do with anything. They may have been banned from the forums, but last time I checked you got kicked from the top FC on the server twice. (forum behavior vs actual game behavior?) Which is really worse when it comes to sharing your opinion about this sort of topic? It's a moot argument/point and not worth bringing up again.

EDIT: also yes, linkshells were able to progress faster than FCs considering that they didn't follow the rules of the progression thread. A lot of FC's vastly limited their raid hours so that they could have full FC groups instead of pugging people because they wouldn't get official credit with pugs - linkshells could do whatever they wanted because they weren't supposed to be able to get thread credit anyways. Your group cleared T8 with a pug outside of your static even, which went against two of the rules of the thread, but Sevyn didn't verify before adding you. A kill is a kill, grats, but the point of the thread is for friendly, structured, competition between FCs.

Version 1 of the progression thread was the only one that was specifically labeled as an "FC progression thread" versions 2 and 3 were not. Now suddenly it becomes an FC only thread again when FC's are losing their standing to Link shell groups.

1. Really? Resulting to insults? As far as the two banned from here, It does have something to do with this. They're influencing how the forums is represented, when they can't even SEE it. Why is that?
I didn't want to make AUsraid times, and went social. After discovering I was in a linkshell raiding (at later hours, as I wished and was VERY open with the GM about), I was kicked. How is that poor in-game behavior?

2. After our T8 pug, I updated our post in the progression thread with kill proof of T6, T7, T8, and T9 with our static 8, as was required by the world progression thread.

There's plenty of footage of AU bringing in "pugs" for T9, and advertising their streams as "AU Progression".

You do realize that AU's progression group with Zachy's raid leading swapped among 13 different members from 6-9? And they still bring in random people for T9 progression in their group 2?

They were all members from within the FC so they receive credit. Group 2,3,4,etc don't receive official credit so they can do whatever they want at that point - hence why they are doing just that. A 2nd FC group is allowed to pug because they don't get credit, which is the same allowance that Linkshells follow.

Pugs and linkshells are dedicated to each other only to the point that they will raid together, but as soon as joining an FC comes into play they aren't committed enough. If people don't want to leave their FC for official progression then no one is going to force them, but then they won't get official credit - simple as that. You can have credit for your kill on the World Progression Thread so your recognition isn't ignored, but when it comes to a Levi FC Progression Thread, then Linkshells don't follow the rules.

You follow the same rules as everyone else, or you don't get to be a part of their structured competition.
