1) No. People will abuse this to no end.

Some of those are pretty nifty, but a big fat huge ferocious no to #1.

We had it in 1.0 and it was the worst crap ever.

Not a 1.0 player, so I'm not sure how crappy it was.

I kinda see the misconception with how this could be abused, but if there were a criteria which would allow a change in the Duty to happen without harming the flow of the game it could be very viable.

Maybe perhaps restrict looting to the class you entered into the Duty with. A tank (with a DPS alt class) queues in with a DPS buddy. Buddy leaves and the tank switches to DPS to take his spot; just so the "tank" (aka DPS) would by-pass the queue time. Insta-queue as a tank, loot as a DPS. Then make the rule that if you queue in an a tank, you loot as a tank despite playing a DPS role.

It was used for speed running the dungeons that dropped Darklight (BiS at the time), most players were required to have multiple geared lv50 classes for specific portions of the dungeons and had to change on the fly. Very annoying for most able to do so and frustrating for those incapable of doing so.
