I'm the Thread Creator & so it's MY Request, anyone to follow is an opt-in supporter or in opposition to MY Request. SE can weigh these suggestions & their support (or lack thereof) as they please.

God, I really hope they don't make it require another stupid Catalyst like Dark Matter or Prisms. Simply dyeing once unlocked would suffice.

Why? I have to work for just about everything else in this game, save a haircut. It'd be nice if I could just do the same for my chocobo. It gives me a break from the monotony that comes with grinding/farming. I don't want this game to feel like a job. I have one of those and I hate it.

Reason why is all over the OP. Sure, I think some things should be freely available & simple to obtain. This isn't one of them for reasons of Final Fantasy history/lore/nostalgia/precedent.

You can already gear-dye all you want simply by handing a dude a glass of OJ, there are plenty of things you don't have to work much for in this game. I don't think Chocobo Dyeing should be one of them. If you question why, perhaps read the OP for my answer.

Requesting how something would work would effect EVERYONE that plays, not just you. So requesting this is doing so on behalf of everyone. Duh.

Second, how is posting on a thread that was last posted on today necroing it? I think you're mistaken what that phrase means. Necroing a thread is when you post on a thread that was long since dead/over. You, however, made this thread YESTERDAY and it was posted on as recently as ten minutes before my post.

I have read about food that you give your chocobo to eat.
Of course the devs would not use paints, which we use for the gears, to change the color of the chocobo.
