It reminded me of the straight-forward updates during the beta phase on the forums... well, it's pretty much a retelling of exactly that, but still!

I watched it too, and while I understand their stance on not focusing on the graphical quality so intensely, I do hope they are able to improve the current graphical quality for the systems that can support it (pc and ps4) rather than ignoring it altogether. Specially now that the game has been out now for ..uh.. like 7-9 months now (I forgot exactly) and has largely been a huge hit so they should no longer have to worry about if it initially succeeds because largely it has. Now to move forward.
Moving forward generally involves introducing new content and such, rather than going back and editing small details of what exists. I miss the visuals of 1.0 as much as anyone else, but I really doubt it's going to happen in the near future. They seem pretty adamant about it, and I think it's best for now that it be that way. The servers are already a problem as is for many people, and given that they most likely will not expand server locations for the western world, we don't want to just add more stress to them. A little disappointing, but far from necessary. I'd rather they bring out more content to have fun with than spend a long time on aesthetics and potentially make the experience worse (server load).I watched it too, and while I understand their stance on not focusing on the graphical quality so intensely, I do hope they are able to improve the current graphical quality for the systems that can support it (pc and ps4) rather than ignoring it altogether. A question I would of asked is basically.
Will we see Major end bosses from the past other than the ones we have already gotten, example Sephiroth, Kefka and so on would they make a appearance in the game or a cameo?
That would of been mine.
The other question I also would have asked would of been.
Will there be something other than the old games that is made is made specifically for Final Fantasy 14, like a new job other than the ones from previous final fantasy games, something that is new based off 14's realm.

What are other characters you’re looking at including? You’ve ‘mentioned Cloud and Sephiroth in past interviews…http://gamerescape.com/2013/09/01/in...n-at-pax-2013/Yoshida: With Cloud and Sephiroth, those were more of ones we would never bring into Final Fantasy XIV. They have a lot of hardcore fans, and if you just brought them into FFXIV you would create a lot of hate. When you use those characters you have to be very, very careful.
Lightning is a tie-in, so we have the release of Lightning Returns coming, so you would expect we would try to do something around that time.
Then again, this is not the last event of the season we still have Tokyo Game Show coming up (sighs), and there’s probably going to be some kind of announcement probably around then.
Yoshida was quoted saying he didn't ever want to bring in certain characters that died because it would cheapen their death, I doubt we'd ever see Sephiroth or Kefka as much as I'd like to, I'm Ok with that decision.
