    Top 10 Changes You Want To See

    I dug through these threads pretty deep and I couldn't find a thread like this, and besides, this is something the developers should have thought of!

    List the top 10 things that you want to see in this game by the end of the year!

    Rules: Arrange numerically from 1 "Most Desired" to 10 "Least Desired" of things you want to see added/changed/removed from this game this year. Put more than 10 if you really must.

    Now I know what you're thinking. This thread will probably get overlooked by the developers, and they've foiled my plans of being able to add every dev tag in the tag list. But if this gets enough attention, we've given SquareEnix a perfectly good resource for everybody's wishlist, whether they choose to use it or not. I crammed in 5 random dev tags to improve our odds.

    Anyway, my list:

    1. More End-Game PvE Content!

    2. More Job Traits.

    3. Bard class or party-buffing class of some sort.

    4. 1-handed axes and 2-handed sword.

    5. Delivery Boxes.

    6. Artifact Gear.

    7. Chocobos (I guess).

    8. Large-scale PvE content like Dynamis.

    9. Skill Point/Experience Point penalty for death.

    10. Point system (like conquest points) where you can accumulate then exchange them for items.

    2. New areas opened up with dangerous routes
    3. Current areas destroyed by 'coming danger' and revamped
    4. Party balanced to create long lasting levelling etc
    5. Guildleves to take a backseat for normal quests, missions, job quests
    6. Gear Levels so we have something to work toward
    7. Food to make a difference
    8. Get rid of the mini map and make maps quest rewards
    9. New Mobs, bigger mobs, get rid of rats
    10. Besieged in Gridania to eventually destroy the whole forest

    Isn't their story about elementals? Could do with a fire elemental going on a rampage through the woods.

    10 things I'd love to see implemented:

    1. fireworks
    2. extra fancier /dance moves
    3. adventure
    4. a "final" boss
    5. house/appartement/cabin(ship)
    6. yoshies (or chocobos as most people like to call them )
    7. more areas (the world map shows so many places we can't go to )
    8. proper Guild Marks rewards for crafting leves
    9. quests and more quests
    10. proper seasonal events (no bell thingies)

    I'm not really into this "end game" thing (I don't think I've ever reach such a place), and I have mostly focused on Hand/Land classes so I don't have much to ask yet about the battle mecanics and classes (I'll get back to fighting when the game improvements are sufficient enough to convince my LS buddies to come back and play).

    What I'm looking for this game is really: adventure (good story, quests, areas, with epic battles to look forward to) and random fun and silliness to be shared with friends and others.

    Wow that destroyed area from "the coming threat" really does sound, Warcrafty, but damned good. All the complaining about copy/paste and the area layouts the old dev team made. The new dev team wouldnt have to change 100% of current areas. Maybe 30-40% and add in new mobs/features. Aswell as creating a whole LOAD of lore for the world....

    Never thought of that before kudos my man, kudos.

    1 a better community
    2 mog houses with useable furnishings
    3 swimming and underwater exploration
    4 underwater spear fishing
    5 barber shop
    6 better organized market wards that are open air
    7 an Auction house that only can do bidding nothing "buy now" unless they re name it.
    8 a red mage class that melees (like ther are suppose to)
    9 the travel methods that were promised
    10 ps3 launch date that isn't delayed

    3. Player housing (a vast improvement on the mog houses in XI, that's not to say they weren't good because I took great pride in mine but improvements welcomed.)

    4. Giant yellow horse-birds

    5. Air ships

    6. Removal of SP fatigue

    7. More female Elezen/Hyur and Miqo'te.

    8. Sexier outfits for the above. (read: more subligar)

    1. Gear every 10 levels that is difficult to obtain.
    2. Long quests similar in story/difficulty to the CoP expansion in FFXI (The best quest series I've ever played in any game)
    3. Monster camps that you have to infiltrate, like goblin camps or something
    4. Fights similar to BCNM's in that you have to have to collect things over a period of time in order to access them.
    5. A more balanced system that doesn't reward players with multiple jobs so greatly. Limit what people can use by a bit and change/improve the current stat point system.
    6. Chocobos and maybe a mini-game/item find that goes with them
    7. A large scale PVE event. Something where multiple parties are involved against tons of monsters. Maybe each party is competing against the others to kill the most monsters, or save the most NPCs. Just something that rewards players for doing well in the event.
    8. A richer environment. I'm tired of empty space.

    10. Mog House and Guild Halls/Boats
