What is the RD1, RA3, etc?

eta: Wait... does crosshotbar set grab the skills and put them on your xbar for you? Am I understanding correctly? ^^;

It's for re-slotting the cross-hotbars.

/crosshotbar set "Divine Seal" 1 RD1

slots divine seal in cross-hotbar set 1, R2 + D-pad Left.

/crosshotbar set "Medica" 1 RA3

slots Medica in cross-hotbar set 1, R2 + Circle. See chart below for others (i believe either RDU or RD2 would both work, just depends on your preference for numbers or letters (i.e. u is up, r is right):

L2 + ← LDL(LD1) R2 + ← RDL(RD1)
L2 + ↑ LDU(LD2) R2 + ↑ RDU(RD2)
L2 + → LDR(LD3) R2 + → RDR(RD3)
L2 + ↓ LDD(LD4) R2 + ↓ RDD(RD4)
L2 + □ LAL(LA1) R2 + □ RAL(RA1)
L2 + △ LAU(LA2) R2 + △ RAU(RA2)

Ok, wow. Thanks! Is cooldown an issue though? I thought setting skills to the xbar while out and about always forced you to wait for the cooldown timer.

I don't think so. I haven't used this yet, but hope to use the macro for my pet bar when it's working with pet skills. However, ariaandkia kindly posted a video demonstrating this in action on another thread:

A screenshot wouldn't really tell you much about how it works so I did a mini showcase.

As you can see there seems to be no cooldown on the skills when switched this way.

Um, she's in a city the whole time (no cooldown timers upon changing classes/skills). I meant "out and about" as in while running around outside of the cities or while fighting. ^^

Ah, well in that case I'm not sure. Give it a try I guess ^^;

You can change your hotbars as much as you want without causing a cooldown, it's when you change Cross Class Skills that the cooldowns get thrown on.

Wow, this is great news to here.

I play on PS4 and was overwhelmed when I started working towards scholar yesterday and realized how many skills I would need to fit in my bars. For battle, I only really use two hotbars, the second one accessing exclusively through the L2 + R2 combo.

As each fairy has 4 pet actions, I figured it could fit in one of the crosses and change depending on which fairy I had summoned. However, I couldn't use /chotbar set for Pet Actions, so I had to come up with a solution that required me to copy an entire hotbar just to replace 4 pet actions.

This news comes at a great time for me, and I'm looking forward to overhauling my summon macros and taking advantage of these features.

Only pity is that I realized that Gearsets, Macros, and Main Commands still can't be set this way. Still a huge improvement though. Really, the important stuff got added so I'm happy enough. The rest is just convenience.
