Turn 4 usually doesn't go too bad at least in my experiences so far.

The problem with T5 is even if they went ahead with their plan to make the echo be at 30% T5 still has 1 shot mechanics that people who don't know the fight will die to. For example someone getting a bunch of people stuck in the conflag, getting hit by dive bombs into the wall, getting hit by twisters. Random groups in DF have a problem with a lot of 1 shot mechanics, echo won't let you overcome these.
Your best bet for beating T5 is making your own group and progressing through it or joining a FC or LS.
DF is worthless for practice.
In one weekend I ran Titan (Hard) 30 times. That's right. THIRTY. You know what. ZERO made it past the heart phase. I could run pre-heart blind by the time the weekend was over. Once I moved servers to the one my IRL friends are on (Still bitter about this BS SE) I finally got past the heart and had no idea what to do. Took a few tries and was basically carried at this point but I finally got it done.
Not to mention people are '1 wipe abandon' happy in DF.
When he said "I'm a solo player", I was like "DOH!?"
On a more serious note: t5 is the bridge to the new Coil content. It's old content, but not irrelevant.
I think finding the right people to down stuff with, comes with an MMO. Just an idea to make an LS and invite people you like playing with you come across. Im sure there are more people playing this game "solo" just like you.
Echo buff not going to save you from twister or a few other mechanics if you do not know how to properly do them. If you have close to full i90, Twintania should be a joke with that echo buff you have now. Literally a steam roll fight once you have mechanics down, given you need everyone to know mechanics.SE can you please do something to make people want to use DF for T5? Why did you change your mind about the echo increase? Who cares if a lot of people are clearing 6 month old content that drops ok gear.
PF is an option, but it's full of people that want kill exp and I'm a solo player. I've studied T5 and practiced in DF, but it never works out. If the Echo was increased enough, a party might be able to overcome these issues that will never disappear (people going in unprepared).
I have almost all jobs to 50, my main jobs are geared past 90 and I've hit a wall, I can't advance any further since I won't be able to finish a lot of the content due to bad DF parties.
I don't see a reason to continue subscribing, because I will basically max my soldiery on Tuesday and log off, what's the point of waiting over 2 hours for T5 to wipe in 5 minutes? I want to experience the game, but I can't.
And queue "Why are you playing a MMO if you solo", "You don't deserve to finish T5".
They could flat out *double* the damage, healing, and health you do in turn 5 duty finder, and 9/10 groups will STILL fail to clear it.
Echo buff does not prevent stupid.

Even if solo, party finder is way to go for solo people wanting go farm lower turns or try to make groups to clear higher content. Can make your own group. And a lot of times those people wanting kill experience haven't killed it themselves anyways.
Echo buff, DF, what more do you want? A party of 7 bots to clear it for you? Jeez.

Judging from my few attempts on T5, no amount of echo is gonna help unless the whole group understood mechanics well. Start your own group on PF and work and if possible practice with those same people till you clear it.
