Glad SE is sticking to their guns for once and keeping something exclusive. Just like the legacy campaign, the Lightning event was announced and advertised very clearly. In fact, Lightning struck twice (once in November and again in February), and lasted just over a month each time. There was plenty of time to complete it and you only have yourself to blame if you didn't take advantage of it.
There are already enough 1.0 exclusives that SE has caved on and made available in ARR (seasonal items, primal weapons, the goobbue mount). We don't need to start doing that with ARR exclusives.

I have a question. I have a character that didn't get a chance to exchange an otherworldly parcel during the event. Is there any way to exchange it right now?

Could we at least have the hair be an account unlock? I have other characters I plan on doing eventually, but I was way too occupied with my main to get around to leveling all 8 to level 45-50.

People are being too spoiled about this, its just hair.
Make it available to new players.

Since Bravely Default outsold lightning returns we should get Ringabel's pompadour.

inb4 its purchasable from Gold Saucer tokens along with hair and clothes of other FF series characters.
That would be nice indeed, I would like an entire event for each character for each game, but just armor and hair as reward would be more reasonable (and if they stick to Amano's art it would fit more)

We already had 2 lightning returns events...Repeat events are a drag if they occur too often because, usually, only one event takes place at a time. And I don't like the idea of being able to get event items from the calamity salvager because then what is the point of an "event" item.
They will probably hold the same event in a year or so, you'll have to wait it out and see.
