PVP General Discussion

Me and 3 of my coil static buddies started PvPing just recently and are really enjoying the change of pace. Sure it might be a bit linear (kill healer first and you basically win, unless there is a SMN in the party) but it's one of the only things we have that isn't scripted and adds a bit of challenge and strategy.

So yesterday we basically PvPed all evening. Queues were slow at first but picked up in prime time. We got into a match with a 4man that must have joined the wrong win-trade group :\ They were all naked and we slaughtered them in 15 seconds for an easy 100 marks lol.

The highlight of the night was we found a 4man group in Balmung that we ended up playing about 15 times in a row. The first fight we won. Mind you, we were ALL in i55 PvP gear and there were all in mostly i100 PvE. We out-skilled them basically. Then we insta-popped the light party queue and got the same group. They basically owned us 4 times in a row after that. This is when we realized that their i100 PvE was better than our i55 PvP gear. We re-geared into our PvE sets (all of us are around i96-i99) and didn't lose a single match after that. We beat them about 10 times in a row (for quick/easy marks!!!) and we finally ran them out of the queue.

So yeah, basically we dominated Balmung server last night

I'm claiming Moss Green as Goblin's official color! It's so awful, and it's so Goblin.

I don't know about that ugly green color, but my group has been rocking the Royal Blue. But since last night and doing some research, I won't be gearing into PvP gear until I have enough for i90 at least and the rank high enough to wear it.

I find it easier to survive when using ilvl 70 gear insted of my main pve gear (ilvl96) Even though I lose about 1k hp. As a healer.
