Genuinely hope you're not in the same pool as me for the DR, and I sincerely feel for people that are.
Wow u nerds are still trying to say how other people should wait for you. Have u figured it out yet? It's rude. I wanna got play a dungeon with whoever thinks I should wait... I wanna go 10 times with u in a row and watch every cut scene every time ok? You're seriously rude and ur lack of comprehending that blows me away.
Checked thread, didnt see it at all. Though I do remember seeing an earlier post from them saying that if it isn't one of the things listed, you can't kick someone for doing it.
They have commented on it, and they have said if you are unwilling to abide by the groups strategy then that is a reason to vote kick. Group Strategy is a very loose term.
DC- Silence from the peanut gallery. You haven't been to CM and Prae. You don't know the issue here so you don't get to make commentary.
Yes, I did look you up on Lodestone and I do recall your previous thread ( http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ons-and-quests... )
Myth- As I said, whatever helps you sleep better at night buddy.
Although, you really need to stop thinking of 'us' vs 'them'.
I told you, it's not about CS or waiting. It's not about who 'wins' or 'loses'.
It's about what happens when such a situation occurs.
What will typically occur is that the person who wants to watch the CS in question will often be berated and harassed.
That is the real issue here. That response to players who want to watch CS is wrong and unacceptable.
In case you missed it the first time around Myth-
Harassment of other players for wanting to watch CS = Bad. Very Bad.
Now, I'm not saying you *personally* are harassing people Myth. In fact, I've never said that.
However, harassment does happen and because it happens it makes your stand on this issue weak.
As far as your "victory" is concerned; congrats bro!
You've just succeeded in helping make this community more toxic.
Have a cookie, yeah?

It is on page 10, here is a copy of what was posted:

To avoid such incidents in the future, we would advise to speak with either the group leader or fellow party members when joining a new group to discuss any specific party restrictions that need to be addressed (i.e. any loot priorities, allowing group members to watch cutscenes etc).""
^ community isn't toxic, it just doesn't want players who only care about themselves over 7 other people, hence why they made vote kick. Get over it.'
Someone call the WAAAAAHHHHMBULANCE.

Ah, thats why I didnt see it. It wasnt an actual quote. Did find that quote elsewhere though.
At the same time, it does say that the party needs to talk about the type of run it is, so while it does fall on the one who wants to watch the cutscenes, its also up to the rest of the party to say they dont at the start of the run (and remove the person at that point).
because it extends the duration of a run quite considerably. Think back on this thread after u sat through ppl watching cut scenes a few times and you'll see. I don't blame u for being angry now, but I can also understand ppl getting pushy for cut scenes to be skipped.
I suggest party finder for watching cut scenes in comfort and without harassment.
Then Main Roulette needs removed since it was added to help get people through the story.because it extends the duration of a run quite considerably.
