Folks don't need to try it to know it has very high reliability (well, you might want to provide a split-off path for if you get an Excellent during Innovation II, so that the user doesn't hit Byrgot's on a Poor condition), but that is not the point.

Before the last batch of recipes, folks would post 100% HQ rotations from NQ ingredients, and those rotations REALLY WERE 100%. No one claimed 100% success if their recipe had even a single Hasty Touch - if you followed the rotation, you'd get a HQ every single time, no matter how bad your luck.

That is what the OP was hoping for but, to my knowledge, there is no possible 100% HQ from NQ recipe for 40 durability 2-star. What you provided is useful, and possibly the best the OP can hope for, but it is NOT 100% - and that's why you got criticism for claiming that it was.

I'll give it a shot, I worked out a 1-star 40 durability rotation for 380 CP that so far has about a 90% average with zero high quality items, if I put 1 HQ item in it jumps to 100%. I will be using this to make my Nuggets and Silk for the 2-star and the 50 items you need for the tools.

I have a rng rotation that gets me 90% at least most the time if not just flat out 100% on nq mats that only needs 345cp, no food needed.

in reality though I hq practically everything I make with it, however it doesn't work on the trade in item as that is a harder than normal 2star synth.

I have 361 Craftsmanship, is it possible to OS the progression with one Careful Synthesis 2 under Ingenuity 2 with that?

Nothing that relies on Hasty touch is a 100% method.

Guys, the rotation isn't only based on hasty touch, it is aim to build up the Inner Quiet stack once you are ready to hit Byregot. With this rotation, at 5 IQ stacks, you are SoL for HQ product, at 6 IQ stack, fair chance, and at 7 IQ stack, you are golden.

Uses 338 cp. Switch last touch to standard @ 354 cp, advanced would be 368. This probably won't get you to 100% quality but it's the closest you'll get without depending on rng, and any nq's you end up with can still be used in 100% quality 0%RNG rotations for 80-durability 2-star items which still sell decently well.

Edit: One Careful Synthesis II may not be enough based on your stats, if not you'll have to replace a touch with another and adjust CP values needed accordingly.

HQ crafting master book turn in item, even with my wvr at 391/373/388, using your rotation, I am getting ...
Basic touch:

If I drop down to a low ball 352/346/388 DoH, that Adv HQ drops down to 81%

In other words, the rotation is always at best at 84% success using AdvT, with max stats. IMHO, as with any rotation, the problem lies at IQ stacking, and you will need 7 for 100%.

I guess the difference is in the approach. Using basic/std/adv touches, it will be very hard to that 100%, if not impossible, and play with the RNG at the end. Using Hasty, we are playing RNG with the IQ stacking, 5, 6, or 7. At IQ5, it is no different, and at IQ7, we are all 100%.

After searching the web, I found the 100-hq-2-stars-set-crafting-gear, and I use this Near 2 star 100% 40D rotation.

This rotation requires I think 391 craft to finish off with 1x CS II and needs 358 CP so there is plenty of room to replace one more of the hasty's with a basic if you get more CP. If you have lower craftsmanship than this then you have to sacrifice one of the last two Basic Touches for another CS II and your chances to HQ definitely drop.

Yeah, tested with the JP site and wanted 389 for my wvr. Maybe it is just me, but I personally shy away from any 1 or 2 star rotation that requires me to have 391 craft.

To achieve that, I either have fully melded my gear, or I already got the astisan tool, which comes after why I need to HQ 2921 40D items.

IME, it is much cheaper, and easier, to reach the 345 CP (388 w HQ food), and use high CP rotations.

391/374 is for those 3 stars rotations ;p
