I agree that Dev could judge such situation asap as similar as how they handled T2 enrage.
However, I don't undersatnd why OP put speedrun in this post,
some ppl complaining they think DF should not have speedrun but no one complaining speedrun is an exploit. ^^;

At one point in the past it was unclear as to whether or not speedruns were ok (for a little while). Then i guess devs said it was against the spirit, and they also implemented measures preventing it. When I say speedruns i'm referring to the mass-pull lockouts (old WP) and not brayflox hard speedruns where you actually have to kill things.
Mew!
Some cheats/exploitations are harmful to the balance of the game BUT with such improved awareness by the developers and responsiveness they have little excuse to let that abuse continue.
..on the other hand, other cheats are just annoying. Especially if you worked hard for something and somebody else found a sneaky way to do it easier. It doesn't negate the fact that you worked for it but it still stings.
I play as legit as possible and, with this game especially, I try to do research online to prepare for challenges ahead. Unspoiled noids are a great example. You could pull your hair out trying to find the first round of items or with a little research you discover what to expect from the higher level UNs.
If finding shortcuts to 'your' endgame make it more fun for you, then go for it, but don't think that you're any better for it.
