Some people are just stingy. Don't worry about it. My friend watches all the videos he can several times, but he has time do so. I, on the other hand, do not. I will go into a fight fresh, announce my newness, and I usually figure out the mechanics as I go. That's how I learn. I can't remember everything I can see in a video, but I can remember what I experience and then if there's something better that someone can advise me on, I'll incorporate it. Some people take this game too seriously. If I wanted it to feel like a job or course-study, I would just stick to my uni classes for the experience.

Maybe you should not worry about what people say, pull up your pants and keep going.
Also whats wrong with studying a fight before you go into it?
Do you think its wise to go into combat not having any clue whats going on while your peers have taken the time to studyi t?

So with that logic the players that wiped and wiped and finally learned Mog X or Levi X or Coil2 can now expect players other then themselves to have studied rigorously and know the fight before entering? Why should new players be held up to a higher pedestal and not be offered the chance to learn a fight naturally? Yes, because those initial players bashed their heads on wall, new players can go watch a video. But there is no reason, other then their own desire to do so, that it should be held against them.

Oh, and speed running is not in any way shape or form an "abuse" of DF. DF exists to make partying up fast. That's it. How people decide to run dungeons after that is up to them. Abuse would be harnessing a player who doesn't want to SR but there's nothing abusive about SRs themselves. And if you're queuing for Bray HM then be ready to SR because that's what the community wants to do at the moment.

That may be true to an extent but if even 1 person in that Brayflox group doesn't want to SR and are kicked for it then yes that is an abuse of the kick system. You can't force a SR on anyone, the rest of the group is free to speed through it however.

EDIT: Just to clarify I'm not directing this specifically at you. Your post was just something I wanted to build off of.

Send me a Tell this weekend: after looking at your FC, you have lots of lvl 50s, perhaps just not lucky with a static time for everyone who's at Titan.

I will invite you to the LS that we are using, merged from diff FCs, to send request (LFP Titan EX). If somes are there, have time or simply wants to help, you should be able to form a party. (same place for Coil - anything)

Be open that there will be a progression group (I didn't find one yet that made it long after heart phase) but.. we will down him ^^

lol i joined that FC for a friend, its pretty bad dont let it fool you :P thanks for the invite. Sadly there's just always someone in a group that can't be carried and dies over and over.
