I do want to keep the healer LB on my bard tyvm. With Chemist confirmed I'm hoping they will add something like ranger and those two can share their own limitbreak though it would make some sense that a chemist could do a heal LB atleast reading from how they are thinking about it.

Yeah it does but I didnt even know that until I checked just now. Also going by that description the next range class/job will have it also.Correct me if I am wrong, but the LB button tells you what each class does. Melee does a single target damage move. Casters get aoe damage moves. And healers/ranged get a healing lb. So being 'new' and not knowing would of been fixed by reading. No one's fault but your own there. Sorry.
Bards are uniquely gifted in the fact that they have a theoretically 100% uptime on their chosen target, able to continuously deal damage regardless of movement requirements and nearly all mechanics. Their DPS is very respectable compared to the current damage dealing classes/jobs, and they have the unique ability to grant massive resource (MP/TP) regeneration to everyone in range, including themselves. Additionally, they're the go-to class/job whenever a particular enemy needs to be silenced, as Blunt Arrow is significantly more reliable than Silent Dusk or Arm of the Destroyer.
If Archers/Bards had a damage-dealing Limit Break, what would be the point of bringing any other damage dealer to a raid?
