Lv50 loot shouldn't be tradeable for GC Seals.

Most of the time I am in new dungeons I am there to get seals moreso then tomes. So yeah I am going to take whatever I can get. Most people could care less about the DL stuff. If you truly need something you better be playing that class. Now if someone is that same class as me and actually needs that item to improve his equipment, I will pass that to them.

If anyone find a way to say this in a more polite, comprehensive manner in which people asking for hand holding can finally understand, please let me know. This problem is a big one.
Those kind of people, when facing a problem (or anything they don't like), their reaction is immediately to cry about it and then ask someone else to fix it for them. It's a huge problem and it's poisoning the community. Sadly, we can not fix it. As we can not change anyone, how they are.

What we can do is try to listen to them, let them cry about it, and politely show the obvious they can't see.

So yeah, everyone and myself, please stop asking for stupid things such as this. Need and Greed is as fair as it can get.

All boss mechanics that can be, should be done by a healer. That's how they are usually designed. If you have a dps handling doors, or bombs they are dramatically missing out on dps and you are slowing down the fight as a healer. If your not maximizing your parties ability to do it's job, you are hurting the party. You going full out may add about 20-30 dps to you average for the boss fight. making a dps handle mechanics is going to drop their dps by at least 60.

This completely defies the point of a speed run though you are littering adding up to 3min to a run or forcing the other players to forfeit the items. it's part of a healers job to dps when/if they can it's the make up the job so it's not like your going out of your way to do something you just actually play your job correctly(sounds like at least). Every time I've had someone do that in a speed run, we talk to them if they don't agree to greed, we kick. IF that person harasses us for us calling them out on it, we report. adding 3 min's to our time so u can get seals it's not just rude in a variety of ways(it's no longer speed runs, everyone had a job to do, essentially bullying the other players into giving you items).

a good physical dps should know how to heal themself, done right they can recover 2.5khp+++, and good mage that knows how to use manawall/ward, aetheral manipulation will lesson the load on the healer allowing for you to dps. the dps are trying to avoid attacks so you can heal less, and dps more, they are making it possible for you to dps, if it wasn't for those jobs having those mechanics, or players that don't use them, heal more plain and simple. IT takes everyone doing their job at the best, for you to do yours at the best. Your extra holys are great and do speed up the run by about 10-15 seconds, esp if you have a bard. I get an mp boost from sch that actually allows me to get off another spell with convert and this actually makes up for more damage(my flairs crit for 3k on those trash mobs with foes). I can take out the second adds with a bard in full rotation with RS and convert which is about 20 seconds cast time wise that only allows for 5 holys if you never do anything else. This might be why I Get so many commendations on my dps. it's more effective for a blm to stay in place, get hit by the bomb(1st pull), and get an extra cast off, it's higher dps then if they move so you don't have to cure them. however at least your not a lazy whm that I generally run across who never uses holy, so I apologize for that accusation.

Oh, wanna see something even worse ? I joined a group for Titan EX with my BRD, and there was another BRD in the group. The bard Earring dropped, I have the i100, both i90 and the i70 with full materias. I used NEED and got them, my score was 85, his was 84 and he was still using the i70. He should pair with you and whine here.

Or, perhaps, I should tell you the full story ? He died in P2, was raised, to die 30 seconds later on the next set of bombs, was again raised, to die on the last plumes in P3. We did the rest of the fight without him, so yes, I claim that he doesn't deserve these earrings.

I go double blm.
Double flares + holy is too good.
I wouldn't need ballad etc as double flares is amazing and is more worth it than a bard with sub par aoes.
Speed runs imo only stop counting after you kill the last boss in the run. So after u down the 2nd boss no 1 is forcing u stay. But if u want the loot too then u r going to have to say something lol.
So yes it's great that 50 loot can be traded.

Hi... hm... Just a small idea for SE...

What about don't allow need button for those who already have got that item once? It is not so difficult at all, just add some var value so when you obtained an item already it changes to 1, and if you try need an item that the variant is already 1... You can't, easy.

PS: I'm the typical tank in Brayflox Hard that, despite being i 93 rolls NEED to all the tank gear that drops. But it is a personal policy. "If you want tank gear, go tank, earn it with your sweat and tears"

PS2: This like things happens, game is designed with that system so we try our luck. Greed is an awesome feature that sometimes is unfair, or can piss you off or not, but you just have to deal with it and stay calm. Last night I did with my tank a run in brayflox, I had some darklight pieces collected for my bard that was 49, about to level up 50 with a low level roulette... But needed chest... Blop! The darklight corselet of aiming appeard after defeating the last boss... Then a BLM guy didn't roll greed until the last second, wanting me either to wait, or to leave so he obtaned it... And his archer was only 15, 15 needed for the job, no more... He rolled at the end and obtained it, but.. Didn't care, I'll go next time with bard and do need if can.

What are GC seals ??

A form of currency that you need to regularly earn if you want to constantly send your retainers out on quick ventures. It's far more efficient to use GC seals to purchase venture tokens than using up leve allowances.

I'm making two assumptions 1) that you're joining a sr party(which are usually farm), a speed run timer ends when you down the second boss, but the next run can't start until everyone has exited the dungeon and is ready to go back in(even a ps3 user can add 30 seconds between run just due to zone times). What good is a 6min run if the players have to wait 3min between each run? none they could just do 8 min run and take it easy if they wanted that. by you saying that if the person wants a chance at getting gear they earned, they have to tell you or you will just burn down the clock until they exit means that you are completely aware you that you are being underhanded and sneaky.
2) that you are not hitting greed until the timer is almost expired on the item. so yes if you are doing this then people are forced to stay if they want a chance at what they earned.

I hope you don't need ballad, I thought I said foes requiem(preferably with battle voice). ballad is near worthless for a blm. All my fastest runs have been with a bard and not double blm. AT first I thought dbl blm was stronger then I had an amazing bard and found out that an amazing bard is better(not a mediocre bard) however I have already stated that you seem to know how to play your class; however you seem to lack knowledge on the rolls of all the other jobs in the party. If your going to greed that's one thing, I don't really care about that, but what I have called you out on is bullying other players to force them into giving you items, not how you do the run, all i'm trying to do is enlighten you that your not the only one who's doing the part of "two jobs". Everyone has their own preferences on how to do the run and it generally is only a 20-30 seconds difference which may or may not matter to some people.

I never said holy was bad or shouldn't be used, I just said it doesn't mean your doing something that's not part of your job or special. In fact you can swiftcast a holy and stun the mobs this gives you time heal the tank or do another holy before healing. Or if you have a paladin using hollowed ground. It's not that hard to use it. You just think it is.

a bard that knows how to burst his aoe rotation makes a mighty fine dps, when you consider the boost from foes and battle voice. In the rare cases you can get the enemies lined up enough a drg can do decent burst aoe damage(not sustained), a monk can do alright(it's just way too short on the monk to really be useful, other jobs get about 15-20 seconds monk gets 10). but still not as strong as blm/brd and only last for about 10-15 seconds. The fastest double black mage run I had was 5:36 the fastest bard run I had was 4:52. You have possibly have had different circumstance that effect your result. it's been very rare that I get a blm that is as well geared as I am, usually its a person alt class they level just for sr. If you have 2 full time, animus blm that have been keeping up with soldiery, maybe got lucky in coil, that could huge impact on your dbls blm results that I have not to experience.

Nope cuz ppl usually just go like idc lol, they barely stick around before the chests even open.
Soo tbh i have yet to really actually wait a full timer for treasure. But i still stand by tht tactic ^^
I only got kicked / i left because i started to lag bad (5 sec delays etc)
But lets bring it back on topic guys lol, honestly the only other way to get GC seals would be through
1) GC levequests
2) Duty roulette/ duty finder
3) Fates ( have fun grinding )
4) another way? Dunno if i missed one.
* trade ins are a big source for endgame players/ ppl who are at the later part in the game.
-saves us time ( finish runs & get loot for trade ins at the same time)
-level 50+ loot usually can be converted into 600-805 gc seals
Which is about a few high level fates.
-crafters can craft turn ins for endless gc seals via gathering the materials themselves to profit.
It\\'s really easy to act like a jerk then to actually do it. Someone has to hate on someone all the time lol
