this is my biggest fear and one of the reasons why I despise WoW...

well... more on topic, they are adding the ability to flag up now so... theres your clue for what might replace leve parties, they would have to tweak mob timers and localization. They managed to put a level 50-80+ mob in just about every zone in the game so there will be plenty of grinding spots if they tweak the mob population.
wonder if they will make party grind worth a damn? I like to do more then just repeat quests all the time, a good old grind group is a nice change of pace.

You're SP is capped though on those rank 60-64.
So if you're for example rank 43, dont fight anything higher than 53 its a waste of time, if you're 47 dont fight anything higher than 57 its a waste of time.
thats true... Its just hard at say R48 to only fight MOBs R58 and R59 because they would only constitute 40% of the spawns at a particular R55-R59 camp so I'd rather go to a 60-64 camp where you can kill them all worry free
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
