A kinda fun recommendation that should get it done: Make a solo tank/solo heal party in the PF (Tuesday night after the reset may make this easier). If you get good people that have done it before, you should be able to fly through Titan Ex after a few echo buffs.

Navel is almost impossible to complete if you're using Duty Finder. I tried for almost a month in DF, mainly to learn the fight. I would recommend you join a helpful LS or FC and participate in one of their event nights.

I don't believe the difficulty should be adjusted or made easier. There's already echo buff and I believe that's more than enough of an adjustment to difficulty.

Titan is kind of the measuring stick when it comes to end-game, unfortunately. Harder than every primal, and 1-5, but loads easier than some of the newer stuff. It's one of those fights that takes some work to get the hang of, keep persistent and eventually you will find a group capable of downing it.

I have stopped trying. Now I'm waiting for some FC members to untpock it so we can train together with those who beat it already. I still have troubles with Titan HM tho so I am in no hurry lol

I can feel you, OP. As soon as you start with content that's most difficult, Fun comes almost to an end it seems. You need a good group and still dozens if not a hundred of attempts and you wipe, wipe, wipe and get nothing but repair costs. Wiping to the smallest errors where one individual can take care the entire group is affected. Having to do a 5-10 minute long dance of perfection where EVERYTHING must work smoothly or you wipe is just insane in my book. You can do 99,9% perfectly fine but that 0,1% where you were distracted, not concentrated or whatever, breaks your neck.

People banging their head in Coil or Ex Primals change their behaviour when they start diving into said content. No time for help anmyore (if you have wiped a hundred times you do not want to watch others in their wiping phase anymore), no interest anymore ("I need all my time for Coil and Ex, sorry"). Small groups build up their own microcosms inside FC's and sometimes break them. Coil and Ex are about individual progression, it is not really group friendly because people are too different in their skills and time they can (and want to) dedicate. And worst is, some take it so seriously, it feels like they are going on a shift instead of playing a Game lol. I for once could do without Coil and Ex Primals. Give me 10 dungeons more and take all the stupid choreographed "Simon says"-type of boss fights out and this would be the Game I can fully enjoy.

Of course it felt great to beat Titan HM or Coil 1-4. But the costs were very high. I can't tell you how much I hated Titan and got a bad feeling in my stommach each time we went into the fight. I did not play a Game before like this one that makes you angry and feel frustrated because it gives you the feeling "you are just not good enough no matter how often you try". I am in my mid forties and my reflexes aren't as good as they used to be so I need at least twice the amount of time compared to people in their twenties. This Game is yelling at me "YOU ARE TOO OLD" all the time I try to dive into the more difficult content.

Atm I am trying to beat T5 and since several weeks we are stuck in P3 divebombs because not all 8 people in the group can handle them. You can see already the start of things going downhill..like putting the blame finger, becoming impatient and heavily frustrated. I fear not that long and our group falls apart again. Happened with the 1st group I was in and it will prolly be the same with my actual group. But if you listen to the players on this Forum, everything is super easy, even without Echo buff. Find a good group and you are set. Sure.

If you wish to pug Titan EM, you have to beat it when the best need a pug, if you have more than 3 pugs its really hard to learn the phases,

Titan hard mode took me 3 weeks to beat. Titan extreme took me 8 weeks to beat. I did it so much that I remembered the attack pattern and when he changes phases.

Got my kill a couple nights ago with a semi-learning party (I've got two or three weeks of experience losing). Just goes to show--after a certain point, it's not about experience or how rigidly you have the phases memorized. Sometimes you just need that lucky combination of people who all happen to not fall off for an entire run while the stars align to keep the Gaolers from Landsliding or Sludging the off-tank.

Though that was going to be my last attempt before making a solo tank group in Party Finder, just because I think pushing him through with an extra DPS on 20 or 25% Echo would make the fight a lot easier. Faster kill = less time for error.

I would never try solo-tank on PF. It's the random DPS that I don't trust to pick up adds, stack adds and kill them on the same spot but that's just me before 2.2. Nowadays, I find almost no reason to do it unless I get that High Allagan Headgear of Striking. OP, it took me 4 weeks to kill Titan EX in 2.1. Surely it would take you less with Echo now.
Faster kill does mean less time for error but sometimes if faster means more chaos since people can't adapt, well, that just got a lot shittier.
