The problem is, you're actually asking to remove one mechanic totally. Remove knockback from dives, and you may as well remove totally the dives.


the whole point of divebombs is to knockback.
try not getting sent flying after getting hit by a freight train of a dragon.


Nope, it depends on the rationale of your thoughts and suggestion.
Personally I am fine even if they buff echo of coil to 50% to help people clear, so that I can see more players around the new coil. They may clear T5 with buff, but at least they are trained in dealing with mechanics. Mechanics such as twisters and divebombs, and the team knows how to stun-lock Dreadknight.
Your suggestion of removing the knockback of Divebombs is as good as requesting it to be removed, which is quite ridiculous because it's one of the skill checks and designs of T5. It's like removing the bees from Demon Wall in AK.. completely made Demon Wall fight a joke and pushover.
Why should you be Divebomb trained? Yes you should, it is very important. It teaches you how to stack properly. If you can't stack properly and have your team flying all over the place, Acid Rain in T6 will be a problem. Ballistic Missiles in T8 will be a problem. If you can't stun-lock Dreadknight properly, you'd probably having issues with Levi EX too. You have to understand that all these mechanics actually train players up and condition them to deal with mechanics and push you to learn your class more and play better.
Having Echo buff to allow more mistakes to push newer players or players lagging behind thru old content is fine for me - but blinding pushing them and ended up them learning nothing and letting them diving into new and tougher contents is plain bad. It only results in ppl being paired up with bad players and you will have QQs of people being paired with bad players and bad players QQ about how tough the new contents were and crying nerf nerf nerf all day long (I'm still sad that Pharos got nerfed. It's one of the fun dungeons I would gladly take my PLD in over my main class BRD).
Ppl who say all that " no more nerfs plz " are ppl with statics. ( almost 100% positive on this lol )
They obviously don't know / don't remember what it's like to be partied up with other non static coil goers.
But it's always going to hard as long as there r 1 shot / 7k + damage attacks. If they remove it/ nerf it to a number that is survivable then all will be good.
Perhaps just take out the whole firewall :/ then i bet DBs will be less omg wtf in DF/ PF.

thats like saying remove the knockback from titan and leviathan. why not just have a button that you push that skips you to the next turn?

i've not been able to pass divebombs for a long time, about 5 months, cos of my unstable internet, but removing knockback from a mechanic that is only even dangerous because it causes knockback.. are you mental.. games are interactive and require input, otherwise go watch movies
I do remember in fact when I had to pug for turn 5 to get a clear earlier than my static would take me. If you don't have 1-shot mechanics that enforce the learning of those mechanics, people will just overgear it and brute force it. You know why those SNES games were so difficult? They have 1-shot mechanics: get hit once and you're dead. And besides Death Sentence + Plummet + Auto-attack combo, nothing in there deals more than 7k damage unless it's 1-shot.Ppl who say all that " no more nerfs plz " are ppl with statics.
