Continuous ground focused energy field, basically how things ran in King Behemoth. Progressively becoming stronger as the fight goes if certain things aren't handled properly, from a small tick that is mostly negligible to a hard tick that can wipe a party within moments as healers just cant keep up with it.

Like the Slyphs, he won't actually be on the ground, he'll hover, possibly even moving rapidly across the arena quickly. I'm guessing teleporting, without having a set tank position such as how Ifrit jumps but returns to the original tanked location every time.

A FC mate and I were talking about this last night and were thinking the same mechanic as KB. We also though that there could be something like chain lightning where if your spacing is off and your hit, it can flow to other people, growing in power each hit....or the exact opposite and it works like fireballs in T5 where the more people that are hit by it, the less damage it does individually.

I'm curious to know if his Primal Music will be more in the vein of Ifrit (big symphonic orchestra piece) or more similar to the last three Primals (rock with lyrics). If the former, it'll give me another song to work on deciphering the lyrics too, heh. I still need to figure out a few bits of Leviathan and the second half of Ultima. But I'd guess Soken'll go with more traditional music for the ol' man. It's more fitting, I think.

Pretty sure the music from the second Ultima fight used to be Ramuh's fight music. I wonder if Soken will mention this in future.

I imagine we'll see a similar move to Twister, but rather than getting thrown up in the air, we get hit with a lightning bolt.

Nah, I highly doubt it. Even from my rather poor translation of what I've deciphered so far, the lyrics have absolutely nothing to do with anyone but Gaius.

Also avoid water and Leviathan before entering. It would result in extra damage taken.
