It's hilarious but its getting really close to turning into a giant troll fest shit show that everyone is going to get banned over. I'm still trying to be positive and give some thoughtful responses, but even I am probably 3 or less posts from going full troll and getting banned

Can you blame them? we tried to give her a real discussion and advice, but when we wouldn't bend over backwards to accommodate their demands were all called sexist and completely ignored. hard to still be positive and not take the easy troll target when we're blown off because we don't agree with the OP. When was OP mean? I don't remember OP asking for advice. She ignored a lot of the stupid comments and stopped posting for a while. Then someone called her out for not posting. What's the problem?

You just called OP a meanie and you're telling them to man up? Grow up. You all are just looking for a way to flame people. This thread should have been locked a long time ago and I'm very disappointed in the mods.

No one is trying to be a transgender hater or anything, some people think that. That's not the case.
It's the fact she's being extremely hypersensitive to something to minor, I'd guess only a teeny tiny portion of people
seeeeriously gets upset because they called them the wrong gender...In a game. It's a game.
A huge portion of the time that I meet someone of a female character, turns out to be a guy. Just how it is.
I call folks by their character usually, but look, all they did was say "Haha I'm a guy." then I apologize and everyone's having a great day.

Now I think the thread should be locked, albeit hilarious, more people are getting offended and it's kinda getting out of hand.

I think it's pretty insulting that I'm expected to just ask people to call me she when everyone reading this thread knows that I'm a girl and there are still people misgendering me. You think that won't happen in the game as well? You don't think that plays a role in why I'd rather be able to avoid the situation entirely by being gendered correctly the first time?

I am a male. My character is female. For a long time a lot of the members in my FC thought that I was female. People in my FC call me Ellen even though they know I am a guy. It's weird sometimes, but I don't really care.

Serious question. Why did any of us need to know you used to be a man? Could you not have come in here and said "hey guys not everyone that plays a female character is a guy can you please refer to people as their characters gender because it can be a bit upsetting being called a guy when you're a girl"?

I can all but guarantee you would have gotten 200% less shit from other players. The fact that you're transgender is useless information to us and was only an invitation to be trolled and troll us. you have no one but yourself to blame for this situation. I've said it multiple times if being called a he really bothers you so much go find an LGBT FC/Ls and only play with those players who will call you what ever you want them to.
