Vote kick abuse needs be cracked down upon

did you know? log chat can be setting to not shown some certain dialogue such as system message.

i did not know this , which would was one of things i considered as even if she did made this up with friends, she would have to join or make a party and the chat log would have display this.

It almost happened to me before, was in Cutters for the 2nd time at all and 1st time on my healer (and informed the group before about it), had trouble with Chimera's mechanics and we wiped 2 times, then the SMN left. The tank then told me he had also started a vote to kick me but everyone else refused.

I got into a new party after that and had 0 problems (and 0 wipes) because that people took the time to explain properly what to do and where to be.



"refused to listen"? maybe you are just so pro that you cant explain it to "dump" players? Maybe your tank was a total moron but that is no reason to abuse-kick someone! You and everyone else who voted clearly did the abuse and IMHO needs to be punished!

If you think the party does not work vote for abort

there is a difference between explaining what you need to do and baring with it as new people join new dungeons all the time AND "you guys dont tell me what to do, 'im the tank with insta queues and youre just a expendable dps or noob ass healer!" and why should a party abort when it is just ONE PERSON refusing to listen to the party due to some form of inferiority/superiority complex and drags the party down with them? and also removing a person who is harassing the group by" not waiting for the healer mp to come back to 100% and pull a load of mob he cant handled and calling everyone noobs due to HIS MISTAKE is NOT abusing vote kick as "harassment" is a perfectly valid excuse to remove him.


edit. actually your story actually further illustrate my point how we have tanks that think that they can dictate how the party should because they "think" they are in charge and only their opinion matters.

Have just watched the screenshot and I think it should be real because the chat content is not advantage to op.
TBH the chat content showing 3players introducing an interesting game to OP, I would like to be in the party and try it! ^^;

yeah it could be be real as i just complementing several scenarios where my conclusions are wrong and it does somewhat prove the OP innocence , but there is something wrong with that screen shot though. maybe it is just the fact the OP tries to come off as an innocent in all of this?

Thing is when you join DF as tank, you don't know the abilities of the party. Someone can demand a speedrun. But until I know the ability of the party to dish out damage I'll always start out slow and then push. With Brayflox I 2 pack pull to start. 2 pack to the bridge, then lock out 2 before boss. Single pull the first pack after first boss, then double pack pull to the end. Unless the first pulls before the boss show they can, then I'll single pull to the 2nd boss.

What gear they have is not an indication of what they can do. DRGs in myth never using Full Thrust for example.

One thing I've found kinda funny is that the most impatient players i've met in DF all seem to play Lalafells. Not saying all Lalafells are impatient, Just that all the impatient players Ive met rolled Lalafell XD

If you want a speedrun, queue up in a full premade. If you use Duty Finder, don't expect everyone to be willing/capable of doing the things you want them to.

Well, ok, that on the other hand is a clear harassment. If I get called noob ass healer I will vote against him as well and if the party does not kick him it will die along with him.

Fixed for you. As it is pretty shocking how many I've met that didn't even read the tooltip for their abilities (not just SMN). Had a SMN in lost city, insisted on only using Ifrit-Egi, spent most of the fights resummoning Ifrit after dieing from AE.
