I disagree completely. I love things that are unique about my character. Part of why I don't play WoW anymore is because they homogenized absolutely everything. I don't want to see FFXIV go the same route.I love the chocobo dungeon idea, but really don't like the race and gender specific armor. Restrictions are annoying and unnecessarily limiting. In fact I am against even class boundaries for items that can be glamoured (or transmogged, or any other type of system like that). If I want to give the illusion of being a mage type in full plate, I should be able to cast a deceiving spell to make it look that way. If the race or gender specific items gave stat bonuses unique to that race/gender that would be fine, but I'd like to be able to glamour it reguardless.
