none of you read the thread properly your talking about odin 1 hour ability in final fantasy XI "1 shot everything for them"

Sorry to say this IS final fantasy XIV the game play is different. As of now smn has blm DoT bio bio 2 those have always been a BLM spells which they changed in this game while copying WoW warlock class

To me it seems like people expect a summoner to be like Yuna from FFX, and forget that FFX is a single player game. Balancing a summoner in MMOs is why summoner doesn't play like that. Personally I am fine with the FFXIV summoner. I guess the summons could stand to be flashier, but that's only an aesthetic thing since good summoners are already pretty high in DPS.
