Limit Breaks

I'm just curious: is there an etiquette to when someone should use a limit break? I realize everyone draws out of the same pool but should you just leave it for the healer if necessary? Or do you designate a player to use it at a specific time?

Core rule is: If you are not DRG, LNC, MNK or PGL NEVER touch the LB button.

The advanced rules are: If party is about to wipe and you have 3 bars, healer shall use it. If you are doing a speedrun the BLM shall use the LB when the tank pulls a big group. But beside those exceptions NEVER EVER EVER touch it if you are not a melee DPS.
