Ok... but why did you go for a goatee then? Isn't that already a tad behind the fashionElezen male

where you live?
Male Midlander Hyur. I spent days playing with the character creation in beta and could not find an appearance of anything I was happy with.
I was almost a male elezen before I noticed how fat their wrists were in proportion to the rest of the body.
I was never going to be playing a female character.
All the highlanders looked like they'd been dropped on their faces too much as children.
The facial features on Lalafells were too cutesy to make me take the game seriously.
Roegaydns didn't look like ripped muscular giants, but just big fat people.
The character creation options were too few so I just settled on something that didn't irritate me. The only thing I really wanted was a character with a good beard, but I couldn't have that![]()
Là á Bhlàir's math na Càirdean.
(Friends are good in the day of battle)
Im a miqo'te because i played FFXI as the same mithra for over seven years so im quite attached to my character.
I tried my best to make her a "reincarnation" of my old character looks wise. Too bad i had to sacrifice the cute keepers of the moon fangs to give her orange hair but well.

no, facial hair is dependant on your basic attire and bone structure, if you have no jaw line and dress proffesional, why wouldnt you frame your face with some facial hair?
in my characters case, its because of the original option the developers promised of us having an ingame salon... not an actual salon but we were promised ways to alter our characters features.
i chose a goetee because it was supposed to go with specific outfits i had planned, ones that didnt pan out so greatly.
fyi, his hair also sucks with some stuff that i wear.

Mi'qote, because they're the best race. That's a fact.
I was a Mithra in FFXI because I like the Thief/Rogue style of play, and that was the race optimized for that job. (Tank? Mage? DD? No thanks. :-)
I was leaning towards ♀ Plainsfolk Lalafell before friends told me they couldn't imagine me without ears & tail. If SE adds new races/sexes and allows even a 1-time-only change, I'll strongly consider switching to ♂ Miqo'te or ♀ Roegadyn.
When game released I was a Mi'qote but around December I deleted her to try a Hyur. (Didn't know you could have multiple characters then <_<;; ). I might make another character after these major patches.

I picked Roegadyn because:
1. BelgianRofl did.
2. I don't want to be mistaken for a Japanese schoolgirl...
Elezen. Elegance, and they seem to make the most sense appearing reserved and thoughtful.
