Well am not sure how it is on your server but on Hyperion everything is cheap! unless its Ilvl90 gear but lets not go into that.

Personal housing and FC housing will not always be pointless! Not even now really my FC use the house for a crating station were we all sit craft with everything we need right there. Crafting house items equal huge waste of time so we have not even bothered with them.

Guessing you missed the stream when they were showing off the FC Housing and he had around 800k in gil on his character. When that amount got questioned, we had almost the same exact reply.

Was he in a FC. Didn't he just buy a personal house? ^^

A good point though without personal housing what use is there to have so much gil and I know many players can easily afford this even at triple the rate or more purely because the market boards are profitable for crafters hell you don't even have to be a crafter just spirit bond materia to make huge profit on the boards right now. And for what reason would you need the gil if they decided not to add personal housing.

I don't think so, Yoshi or one of his representatives has said that the Legacy/non-Legacy server economies are starting to balance out.
Aside from that, much more gil is being pumped into the economy compared to 2.1, gil comes in the thousands from everywhere now.

Legacy or not, everyone can save up that 850k in a couple of weeks without needing rediculous playtimes or even selling anything on the marketboards.
