Considering how pointless housing is, i'm ok with low prices.

I don't know what personal housing will be like, but I find Free Company housing to be the most useful thing yet. I picked a very good location for our house, and the included benefits are:

- Immediate teleport to the house no matter where I am.
- Mailbox.
- Retainer summoning bell.
- Market board.
- Resting EXP boost.
- FC chest.
- Making money with gardening.
- Neighbors.
- Fun.

All of these are within a 5-10 second walking range of the teleport. xD

I kind of hope they don't allow you to put bells or boards in personal houses. It should just be a personal(vanity) space. We have enough non interaction people in this mmo game.


Also I haven't seen any mention how they decided to handle server load. 850k means everyone and most of the alts can have houses. I do not see how if current FC house has to take into consideration server load, this system would work. Even if they are 2 or 3 mill i would think everyone's main would have a house within a month or so.

I think Personal Houses shouldnt cost any gil but seals.
100k seals. Buy House Permit keyitem at Grand Company.
Have this item be buyable at the new Rank Increase.

This will not effect gil or help RMT.

100k seals can be farmed in 3 days or in 1-2 weeks.
This will bring up the market for Potash & other stuff because there will not be huge stock of them being bought anymore cus people will save for there house.

I'm concerned with this also. And disappointed. But then housing in this game has pretty much been a universal disappointment.

I'd love to just have my own instanced house (like inn rooms now, but a whole house) because if I'm honest I'm not going to invite anyone over. I'm just going to use it as a dumping ground for all the furnishings my retainer drags back from the wilds. I'm not fussed about having neighbours or any of that rubbish.

I wouldn't be surprised if that 850K was per head but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if it was a one-off permit for the Estate to be able to expand to individual rooms.

I've spent about triple that trying to get the FC house to how I want it looking decor wise and with regards to the interior.

Guess its time to start saving up once again (As soon as i have the last 3 Nymian wall lanterns I need..)
