850k is fairly cheap considering how fast you can make money in the current patch without putting in much effort

Yea. a Player can probably wheel in 20-50k a day just doing dailies and depending on the class they're doing Roulettes on. Not to mention if you have a party of 8 and at max 40 Peistskin Maps

Just like in real life, a house should not be cheap. It should be expensive. For those who cannot afford such luxury, a shared housing/hostel/communal living environment like the FC house should be used. I agree with the 850k price.

Gil costs aren't dictated by the RL cost of service. Gil costs are dictated by the amount of Gil currently in circulation.

Lol this turned into something else LOl. But now that we all know its going be around 850k. Be safe for everyone to start saving up for about 1mil. Just so that you wont be as broke after buying a house.

IIRC. He did say something along the lines of, If a character starts at lv1 and save up all his or her gill till lv50ish. They should have almost enough for a house. Back when the game launched I racked up about 300k or so for doing so. but that was with out the currently daily stuff that offer good amount of gil. And back then the dungeons didnt give gil. A character from scratch, can now probably gain more than that after 50 Levels.
