I see people buying content clear service all the time. They've cleared it themselves already (seeing how as some of them are in FCs I know that run statics). A lot of the time it's mostly from people who are in statics that run once a week and want to get more runs in (T1-5 + EX primals).

If you've got the money and want to get a certain piece of gear (esp. in T5) then paying someone to ensure a clear doesn't seem like an issue.

As for those paying for clears on primals (specifically Titan EX) because they can't get past it. Again, if you have the $$$ then go for it. I mean you're buying into an economy that will probably gouge you pretty good all things considered. When the service is limited at best, you can expect the amount to be paid before completion to be fairly high (upwards of hundred/s of thousands of gil).

On goblin a T5 clear costs 3 million gil, just as a frame of reference for ya.

    Hey Zlatan!

But on topic, yeah 3 mil is the going price for T5 right now. On the other hand, I made a new static with competent players last Friday, of whom a lot had never beaten turn 5. It took us 4 days as a newly formed static to beat twintania. If people want to buy content, it makes no difference to me. It's just the alternative to people either not being good, not making friends, or not dealing with pugs. One of our static is in BiS, and told us a bunch of stories about how they sold primals to people. He said the same thing that's being echoed in this thread, a lot of people who bought didn't die at all in the run. They would rather pay to have a good group.

He never once asked anyone in our group to pay him for his help with Twin. He grouped with us one night because our OT's computer died, recognized that we were a competent group, and now is part of our static. Fun times!
