I wouldn't be surprised in the least since the Garlean's use heavy armor and have gun's would make a cool set of relic armor too. Not to mention it could easily be written into story wise as some kind of exiled or rebel group of garleans like they have with all the other beastmen for their daily quests. Although I would like to see something more original than gunblade.

My only concern would be - which one contains more action? My Monk uses fists, he goes around punching every thing and every one in site with out a care in the world, this is Action.

A ninja might be cool, but is stealth really action packed? How can I truly call my self a man of Action if I await in the shadows for my attack. I believe that they should see me charging full ahead, to know that this man is an action man.

Samurai is alright, but maybe too honorable? Action requires honor, and honor requires action, but can the two really into one coherent mass? Will my sword pierce the heavens as my fists have, or will it only slash away at the wind?

These are important questions Yoshi-P must answer.

Everyone seems so intent that the dagger class is going to be DPS...but lets not forget, if this is Ninja we are talking about, we might get a revival of Utsusemi blink tanking! Now that would be something else :P

I think if they announce Gunblade it wouldn't be to unexpected. Maybe the fact its a tank is quite unexpected, but most people would be like "Yeah no thats exactly what I thought" I'm still going on the musketeer train....

they implied quite heavily that the gun weilder was going to be a support class at the last event they went to, I cant find the link but im sure someone has it.

With the lack of tanks, you would imagine that they would be added a Tank Job.

Ive said this before, ill say it again. Adding a new tank class would not encourage more people to tank, because the people who dont tank dont want to tank.

Personally, if tanking was fun, I would tank, lol.

If they released a ninja job that teleported and crap while throwing shurikens; damn straight I will tank, lol.

If they released a beastmaster job that rides a battle-mount which shoots lasers out of his eyes; I would tank and love it^^ Pricks may curse me out when we wipe or play, "Bash the tank", but man did I have a great time tanking^^

I see where you are coming from, however, it may not pertain to everyone.
