    They've guaranteed support until at least (meaning it could be extended) the first expansion, whenever that is. The point they were trying to get across was that if the PS3 hinders their ability to keep the game updated and competitive (i.e. more advanced features), then support will be dropped in favour of keeping the game going.

    Pretty much this. The game is doing quite well so PS3 support may very well be dropped at some point later if this is true.
