    Were you expecting them not to increase the rank cap and make new gear sets to work towards? Do you know how a pay to play MMO model works?

    cause this game should totally be like all the other games most ff fans dont wanna play (expecaily ex ff11 players)

    Very much truth. And all this talk about "horizontal" growth is a bit overrated. There will always be only so many viable horizontal options. More of those options end up being pointless to work for. People want to put effort into equipment which has a noticeable impact on their strength. Gear should become obsolete to keep us occupied.
