I'm only on Turn 5, but about half my raid group is on PS3. We'd probably be into second coil by now if we had gotten started raiding earlier, but it took us a while to get a static group together.

I'm sorry to hear you have such issues. D: I've never had issues like that, but I've heard about them often enough. I play on a PS3 Slim with no alterations to it. No SSD or anything. I've wanted to record gameplay for a while but cannot afford the means to. You can't find PS3 endgame footage, only PC. This is why I made this post to see how many PS3 players were actually at the "current" endgame. That being The Second Coil of Bahamut.I'm currently on turn 5 and Levi ex. Unfortunately I have an old ps3. I can dodge everything with Twin on time, but in that fight my weaponskills (DRG) reset more often than not, and this really hurts my DPS and the group. On Levi ex, the tail and the Sahagin adds don't span on time, so I can't even target them.
That said, Titan ex is a cakewalk for me, and I personally feel fights like that are much easier with controller, especially if you're monk.

Some people prefer mouse/keyboard others prefer a gamepad. To someone who prefers a gamepad, and always uses one when the option is available, mouse and keyboard is clunky and hard to use. To someone who always uses mouse/keyboard, gamepad is clunky and hard to use. Just because you use mouse/keyboard, doesn't mean that those who play on gamepad can't do just as well if not better than you do, but the opposite is also true, just because you play with a gamepad doesn't mean that those who play with keyboard/mouse can't play just as well if not better. Different people have different skills. Some of them are way better at playing with a gamepad, others are way better at playing with keyboard/mouse. The only one that is superior is the one you're more comfortable playing with. I, for one, cannot play with keyboard/mouse. I try, and I fail hardcore. I have never been a big PC gamer. I've always played console games. I never trained myself to use keyboard/mouse controls, and I don't see how anyone can, or would ever want to when a gamepad is so much easier to use. But then, I'm sure there are people out there who have the opposite experience. Different strokes for different folks, but the moment you start thinking you're superior to someone, you probably just became inferior to them instead.

And that's exactly what I mean. What is this "Handicap" you speak of? I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but really, I wanna know.

PS3/PS4 player here. I dont think that skill has anything to do with this missconception of PS3 players. I find its actually more efficient to use a Controller as all skills/actions are available to us with little to no hand movement. I think it has more to do with Latency/Ping than anything else.
For people to assume your "BAD" due to the system you are playin on is a weak comment probably coming from some PC tryhard who claims superiority due to the size of his Graphics Card (epeen).
Latency, Ping and FPS are valid issues however (as was stated by Mura's "Handicap" comment).
As a console player, its your responsiblity to elleviate any of these constraints by insuring you have a good wired connection as well as upgrading your bandwidth (if neccessary) and using any other tools that may also prevent these issues.

I'd say 95% of PS3 players that are having problems are probably still playing on a wireless connection. I've never had any problems with content on the ps3 outside of loading times and the other options looking better. I'm on PS4 now.

Not entirely on topic but I'm going to tackle T5 soon, only atma farm is keeping me busy :] lol. And the fact that I'm not entirely sure I could pug Coil 2, since I don't belong to a static. If it wasn't for those two issues I would definitely be progressing further.
I'm not sure why people bash on us or say we have major problems. I honestly and genuinely face nothing. Anything dumb that happens is most likely my own fault![]()

While both control methods are certainly usable in this game, there's still a difference in how good they are for this particular game. The gap isn't as large as say in an FPS, but it's there. And before you say it's because people are used to one over the other, some of us have years of experience using BOTH. So either one is natural to us, so we start to see which has advantages in a given game. It really depends on the game which one will be superior to the other.
This is the only problem I have with people who make the personal preference claims, which are fine in their own regard. But they use that to try and invalidate that one system is better than another, slight or not.
