    SE will not give up on PS3. They will continue to do everything they can to make it possible for people enjoy the game. And although it isn't the crazy super computer that some people think everyone needs to play the game, I think SE has done a great job making a very viable version of the game. However (Please forgive me) they can only do what they can do. The PS3 does have it's limits and can only be pushed so far.

    Yoshida has only guaranteed PS3 support through the first expansion. He's already stated that if they feel it's necessary to drop PS3 support in order to compete with next-gen MMOs, they will do so.
