what people are failing to understand here is this is FC housing. not me and my wife housing, or me and my few casual friends who may or may not log in within a month housing. the space is limited, its expensive for a reason. if you want to build houses and let them rot then wait for personal housing. in the mean time you are all just sounding pretty entitled

It doesn't matter if its me and the wife, or me and a few friends a FC is an FC. And I don't care if the space is limited, People can do what they want. As for me I don't really care anymore, Me and my small FC will make sure that this wont effect us. I just find it as a cheap excuse on SEs part to make more room for FCs.

I don't ever end my subscription... But I would like to be able to leave the country for about a month to visit my fiance's grave site, knowing that when I get home my FC house (when I get one) will still be standing. Or that we'll be given our gil and items back for our loss.
It's just a tricky situation for me. I wish SE would change it to 60 days.
35 days is a bit too short for small groups.

And in fact most people that complain about dumb stuff like this, want everything. I want atma to drop easier, i want my fc house to be cheaper, I want i want i want.

Simply, please delete any characters have not logon for 35days.
It resovles everything GIL sink, clear LS/FC/Friend list/Black list and absolutely fair to everyone.
By doing this, server capacaity and character names both could be reallocated to who needs.

IMO, FC should be auto-dismissed if the master has not logon for 35days, his members should start a new FC or join a BIGGER one.
It really helps to free up large plot of lands ^^;

I think it is pretty fair to forfeit a house if no one visits for over a month.

In my FC there are always people in and around the house, even though the active player base isn't that large. To tend the gardens, to use the mender, to craft, to access the nearby marketboard/summoning bell. And imo that is what makes it fun as well, it really is a home point now.

Giving a new building permit or a gil refund seems fair to me, losing all the furniture is probably worse enough.

Losing the house is perfectly fine with me, more FCs will get a bigger choice in plots and wards won't die.

Losing all that gil and real time acquiring mats and, making it a home, decorating it is another thing. I don't mind getting my car towed if I left it longer than I should have. I'm not okay getting my car scrapped and sold for scrap metal.
