SMN in t6: Garuda or Ifrit Egi?

The long and short of Ifrit vs Garuda: Ifrit does slightly more than Garuda with (Edit here) WAR + MNK in the party, MNK for regular attack, WAR for AA. Even then, the loss of Contagion hurts SMN's DPS and MP (this is very important in end-game fights, having to DoT quite a bit more kills MP and forces SMN to skip Ruin II or use ED or some other methods which all result in less DPS) more than you gain from Ifrit's higher damage. Ifrit also attacks less often than Garuda can, since Garuda is ranged and Ifrit has to travel at times.

Basically, Ifrit in its present form is never worth it, except maybe solo content where you can't Contagion stuff before it dies.
