Ilv100-110 Healer's gear and accessories lacking alot of Piety

Even with the extra Accuracy it's still RNG To miss the energy drain or not

In turn 8 most of the ppl doing it 1 Tank so SCH damage is almost useless and not needed! if not all the groups my group does !

I'm not having any mana issues with the current MP which is 4.2k from 4.8 or 4.7k before

but it's just sucks that they gave us some useless stat

and in levi EX I usually do Solo Heal as WHM or sometimes as Scholar ! so I don't need the accuracy either because that's DPS Job to dps not healers to DPS! (EVEN If it's not a solo heal )

Nobody is forcing you to use the new gear. I hate how people seem to think higher ilvl automatically means best gear. Use crafted gear if you need piety (penta-melded of course), allagan gear if you don't.

also hp pools get bigger, ppl take more dmg. of course you wanna make sure to be able to heal them up as fast as possible. "but but but i got 600 mp more i can just throw in another spell" ... ya... no... party might be dead by the time. you are right, no one forces you, but if you don't force yourself to get better gear, you might want to think about if you are doing it right

If you want more pie don't buy the Daystar pieces that don't have pie on them. Almost every slot has pie available when you mix the High Allagan set in.

Highest Piety you could get in 2.1 from equipment was 191 (not counting your natural base score of 340 or so, race-dependent). Highest Piety you can get in 2.2 from equipment is 215/217 (SCH/WHM, respectively).

The stat is there, if you want it. The extra accuracy on i100+ stuff is 'free', as other people have said.

Except for the fact that higher ilvl gear is almost always better, yeah. Especially in the case of 90 vs 100, 100 will win every time, even if you lose some PIE. Your main stat is going to trump w/e few secondaries you lose in the vast majority of situations. So yeah, higher ilvl automatically means best gear.

With the extra acc you'll hit more often, which means more dps, which means the boss dies faster, which means you have to heal less.

Useful. Acc is a useful stat. If you're not utilizing it, you're doing something wrong.

As a healer you should be doing w/e dps you can on top of healing.
