If it's the new i90 stuff, those prices are only going to go down over time.
Undercutting will exist as long as SE does not implement TAX on listing items on the MB. Now tax is done only when item is sold. TERA had a tax system when u put item on auction 5% and another tax when item was sold (exist now). A tax on listing items on MB will greatly decrease undercutting as u will loose at lot of gold every time price is adjusted.
I'm on phone now or would make an individual topic for discussion.
"undercutting" (I think the term is actually "Competative Pricing" when not being used to justify greed) will exist as long as players can name their own price.Undercutting will exist as long as SE does not implement TAX on listing items on the MB. lol That cracks me up every time. XD I sometimes make a small living out of buying stuff from the market and then selling it to NPC. I've made several 100 gil in one go that way.
Some don't care and just wanna get rid of an item for some price, anything mildly expensive I get from retainer I usually round down by 10% and forget it exists until my sell slots are full. Money is so easy to come by with very little use several thousand Gil really doesn't mean anything
Sounds like he sold his item. Sometimes selling fast wins, while the guys way above him in price could just keep undercutting each other until their stuff sells for 200k 2 weeks later. Personally i don't see many people buying i90 gear for current prices.
buy them up and vender them then![]()
Seriously. You will still make a profit.

And that's when I go purchase those items and vender themSure, I leave anything that's 1-5 gil cheaper than vender alone but you can make good money cleaning up on other peoples undercuts

You do know that if you head to the city that it was posted in,IE gridania, LL or Uldah that you don't have to pay a tax... right? It shows you the nation it was posted in so you can head there and avoid paying a tax. The "tax" is for importing/exporting to another city from the one it was posted in.Undercutting will exist as long as SE does not implement TAX on listing items on the MB. It's not only that. It's how much the player feels something is worth, or they don't care to check the post listings for the item.
I'm pretty sure the not caring part is more true though.
