Zodiac Weapon quests's feedback to Yoshida (since you asked for it from your letter)

Dear Yoshida,

I really hope SE team read my feedback from here as you mentioned about getting feedback for Zodiac Weapon quests. Especially you mention you were watching new players enjoying the game. I really hope you have a chance to stream old players updating their Zodiac Weapon. As a game player, I think we spend out valuable time in the game to have fun and enjoying in a fantasy content which delight our playing moment. I had such a great time to play with all stuff you put into FFXI ARR until Zodiac weapon quest. I think being a good game the core value should be delighting player game experience instead of giving players painful memory. I understand your team likes to have more people to play old contents to aid new players experience. However, I think the approach of Zodiac Weapon quests is not a right one. It is not difficult in terms of skill set, it is difficult in terms of spending our time in this. The quest itself is boring and painful.

The letter said they were incorporating feedback, doubtful they are taking any. The letter was a smokescreen to appease the masses while they do nothing but count subscription dollars and the like. Cancelled my auto subscription until they actually take significant action on this ridiculous random luck system. This game was a great relief after playing ffxi for years. If the game gets to be a chore though and the fun is sucked out by the ffxi people then it maybe time to consider other actions.

Unfortunately Yoshi and the dev staff don't care about players other than Japanese. They will never read these forums and they will never listen to our issues. This issue will only be fixed if Japanese players complain about it.

So they're biased unless they prove you wrong..... Ok guy. So by your logic, Korean mmo's only care about Korean player's opinions and American mmo's only care about American player's opinions. I'm pretty sure they don't care what nationality you are as long as they have your money.

yeah you can download or use google chrome and still find posts complaining about atma, you have to translate it with chrome but it does work and you can make things out man.

same for me, i had relatively high hope until they did 2.2, now im hating it.
i personally want harder content, not time consuming content, its why i left ffxi

stuff done outside of raids should be about light to medium time consumption, and should be a lower tier than raid gear
raid gear should be difficult to obtain, but still not take weeks either and be the best gear in comparrision
but thats just my opinion

Yeah, before going easy mode, even the Relic quests in FFXI wasn't painful in my opinion. True, it was long, but the majn part of it was Dynamis. While farming to get the needed currency, there were other items you could get in the process.

In FFXIV, getting a high Fate count isn't exactly rewarding. I continue to max out my Seals and spend them on random stuff.

In my opinion, the Atma should be "Complete this dungeon, complete that dungeon", each giving an Atma in the chest at the end.
