Puro wouldn't it be better to meld the robe with accuracy instead of determination? Reason being - determinations value , while remaining at .20, actually keeps decreasing as your average damage increases since crit & spell speed continue to gain in value.

My thinking is that if you slot accuracy this gives you more options to use pieces with Crit & Spell speed instead of needing to focus on the accuracy cap. The robe has quite a bit of accuracy when melded for it. Personally I'd rather have a robe with 33 crit, 33 accuracy & 34 spell speed over 33 crit, 33 det and 34 spell speed.

Our other gears are plagued with accuracy I don't think any Black Mage will realistically have accuracy issues.

@CasuallySerious - It all depends on your needs. You'd want to cap ACC while having as much crit/sspd/det as possible. So, it's different for everyone and their RNG drops in Coil. As for food, everyone can reach 251 PIE if they switch to Lala. You can also meld certain pieces with PIE and what not. Again, we're talking 0.08% DPS differences between T1 and T2. So, it's not really ground breaking if you don't like being a midget. ;P

Oh I'm not saying its necessarily hard to reach the cap BUT ideally you want as many pieces with Crit and spell speed as the 2 secondary stats as opposed to say accuracy/det or other combinations that aren't crit/ss. Basically you'd want to avoid pieces with any determination when you can. By sacrificing the det on the robe it allows you to get more crit/ss which would be a dps increase depending on your set up. For the pie issue going Lala means trading Int for Pie (I'm dusk elezen so max int) - why sacrifice intellect when you can get the pie via food in place of the 3 star food which gives det?

Did a bunch of T9 tonight as SMN. 478 ACC produced 0 misses over 5 hours from SMN spells, though Garuda missed. I think it's relatively safe to assume BLM cap is the same as SMN's natural cap, so it's somewhere in there, possibly 470 like T8.

I've read that tank acc cap is 512 on T8-9, so 470 or just a sliver more for casters would make sense; it was around 40 behind previous tier as well.
