As a healer how do you help under geared tanks?

Remember that PLD don't have access to Shield Oath yet but WAR can use Defiance, so Brayflox's Longstop is just one of those instances where WAR have greater mitigation than PLD. This might be the cause of the disparity you see (can't rule out gear of course). PLDs are going to be taking a lot more damage than WARs and have more difficulty holding enmity.

This is so right. Also PLD's have fewer hit points at this level. If I am on WAR in here its cruise control. On PLD you need to use cooldowns as soon as there up to mitigate close to WAR. Also the last boss can be a pain for tanks and healers sometimes. Also some newer players may not have patrol routes memorized. I would worry more after Stone Vigil. Bad tank there is probably just going to be bad Brayflox is still low considering the amount in the game.

SCH doesn't have leeches yet and poisons get to run their duration, which isn't hard to heal but in conjunction with people not avoiding stuff...

The reason some tanks can't take hits in leveling instances is mostly because they don't understand what gear is tanking gear and what gear is dps gear. I've seen tanks with drg armor and a few medium armor pieces... They just die to the first boss in the dungeon, or the first 'hard' pack. Because they don't have the armor to mitigate the damage.

I would like to know how to reply properly to the verbal assault I get as a healer from under geared tanks pulling to the ramp in Longstop (Hard) after we wipe because I physically can not heal them fast enough.

Or the verbal assault I get as a healer because I run out of MP with under geared DPS unable to kill the horde of mobs fast enough.

I'll try my best to put up with undergeared people and offer advice if I can, but I won't tolerate rudeness. It's very rare that I haven't been able to clear a dungeon with an undergeared or underskilled tank but I do try and let them know if their gear is poor or if they need to use their skills differently.

Basically this. No point complaining about abuse when you can leave or report it. You don't have to argue with people. Blist is there for a reason to if it's on your server.

Exactly. The GMs seem to respond to harassment extremely quickly too. At least when I've reported people, I usually got a GM tell within minutes.

Sadly this. Some players imagine healers can invoke some IRL magic which would make any SR work, but thats not really the case. Far too many elements are involved but its so easy to blame the healer. I usually try and find middle ground, but in SR drama I just leave. Not there for the insults.

Further to Estellios' comment, get a tank you can rely on. If you can make the tank / heal pair, you two can generally compensate for underwhelming DPS. Yes, I know that means getting to know a good tank, but they're out there~

1.) Those are terribad tanks, if I run with an undergeared healer I'll only pull 2 packs at a time as I know that's relatively manageable and it still gives DPS a chance to AOE if they'd like. Even in extremely well geared groups, I will never pull to the ramp. It is just not worth putting your faith in a Duty Finder healer.
2.) There's not much you really can do, though an undergeared tank can actually manage with proper cooldown rotation... at least, a PLD can. Hallowed at the start -> Sentinel + Foresight -> Bulwark + Rampart. Not actually sure if an undergeared WAR would work, though, only because their mitigation is more scaled toward their gear in speedruns.
3.) If all else fails, let them die and tell them they need to pop more cooldowns if they want to survive. Or just, y'know, don't pull the whole room.
