Scholar fan site

I would definitely be interested in a specific place to discuss the Scholarly arts. Making it an Arcanist forum with subsections for Scholar and Summoner might not be a bad idea. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm primarily a Scholar and occasionally a Summoner; it would be cool to have a nice website where I could quickly find tips on being a better Summoner as well.

Yea, I'm at least gonna give it a try. Now looking for help from people with skeelz to design and create a fan site logo for the header of the page!

Need to find a hosting site. I'm using Forumatic right now but it only has a few selective styles even after buying your own domain name. I am in contact with someone who I know personally that owns and operates their own website that is going to host for me.

Ok, need forum name sugestions. I was going with Fey Covenant when it was just scholars, but now, perhaps Arcanist Compendium? Thoughts or suggestions?

Arcanist Compendium sounds like a very decent name choice!
Have you considered what you'd like for a logo design?

I thought about either an open book with one half green pages, the other red.
Or a Carbuncle curled up, similar to the Firefox logo.

you're probably better off going to large fc's websites if you're trying to collect data and such, but as gear and spells arn't quite as complex compared to WoW and not as many people are subbed to FF, a website dedicated to a single job might be a pipedream

Very much aware there isnt near as many subs as in WoW, but hell, it could be fun. Once it gets some momentum, it could bring more people to the Arcanist class, which could in turn lead to more and more data. Granted, there isn't exactly a lot to mix and match, but it's still a very young game with tons of potential.

Arcanist's Compendium does have a nice scholarly feel to it. I'd say go for it. Website layout could even make the web page look like pages in a book, complete with the designs from inside our grimores. Just some aesthetic input.
