Create More Ways to Acquire Atma: Through Dungeons, Guildhests and quality of life

I realized now that threatening to quit isn't going to work, and neither would boycotting the game. This is an extension of the litigious nature of many myriad entities: "I'll angrily threaten to get what I want". This is not effective, nor conducive to a healthy... well, anything.

I semi agree and there has been a lot of good ideas from the player base. However, the recent "fix" to the ATMA ICON COLOR is really a big giant c**k slap across the face for all dedicated fans to this game (myself included). I propose an alternate method of reach to them. Submit bug tickets after every 10 fates because those drop rates are obviously bugged and working against the initial design of this pro-multi-class-on-one-character game.

its very simple just raise the drop rate or change it number of fates performed. hey after over 300 fates and no atma it BS. titan took me a long time but thats because i had to learn the battle and move right as well as the reward of beating him. this a reward of endless grinding , of rushing to area and mindless botton pushing , give me something to go on . so say after 1000 fates you get atma great im into that i know a goal and the out come of my work gives me a reward . just think you pay them to give you good content, is this it? NO!

Yes, I was hoping for a bit more than just an icon color change when they released the Letter from the Producer.

I'm not even going to try hard to get an Atma anymore. Once I get back, I'll be playing as though the Zodiac weapons don't exist. However, keeping quiet will not be conducive to any change, positive or otherwise---so I'll continue to insist that they change it.

This quest line has potential it just needs tweaks, with patch 2.25 SE said they are taking our feedback into consideration let's continue
Making concise problem and solution threads!

I would like to suggest to SE for future content of similar nature and or adjustments to the current atma system that creating break points would be better for players.

For example instead of needing all 12 Atmas to start on books players will have a better sense of progression if After 4 Atmas you can acquire 3 books. And then After you complete 3 books you can have to search for the next 4 Atmas and so on.

been grinding for at least 20 hours. I have yet to get 1 Atma. I tried various locations. Running around chasing rainbows. What kills me is some get them on 1or2 tries. people have gotten all from grinding for 12 hours straight. I put in 6 hours one night. Another 5 hours two nights ago, still nothing. SE really screwed everyone. I have a ton of shields from NM's FATE but no Atma. What makes me even more mad was a friend in my FC joined a fate I was in from the beginning that I had full aggro on the entire Fate, with about a minute left he joined and got the ATMA. Is that fair? They really need to do something to make this fair. The entire situation is making me not even want to play. I broke my butt to get my zenith so I could get my atma. It's been a week full of grinding fates with nothing but frustration. SE should give Lv 50's some tomes for investing the time. I wouldn't mind it if I got something. I know this quest is not supposed to be easy. But this is ridiculous.

They could just incorporate FFIX chocobo hot and cold treasure hunting into our atma grinding. For each fate there will be a visual direction in they sky telling where is your next atma drop. Once you found the correct fate location you have two choices to get your drop
1) you can just grind that fate, while you are not grinindg you have the privilege to change job DOL/ DOH to DOW/DOM without any reset penalty.
2) allow decphired treasure map to be sold in the market, player doing atma quest buying treasure map showing location similar to their indicated atma drop location have a very high chance to drop atma or even a hollow atma which requires you to charge up to become a zodiac atma.

Currently We are just running aimlessly around a map have to stuck with a certain job spaming the same boring crap indefintely, which is worse then old school rpd grind. In the old days we grind at least one day for an item or level which does aid progression but now grinding 3 days can nets you nothing and this is crazy.

Random Thoughts and Expectations:
I expect SE will increase the Atma drop rate with patch 2.3, if not prior
I hope the cost of the Atma books will be lowered ( I honestly think it's fine where it's at, but I'd still prefer if they were cheaper)
Maybe have ATMAs stones also be a low chance reward from Retainer Quick Ventures? If your character has a Zenith weapon, of course
I'm scared of what the Sphere Scrolls (used to obtain Novus relic) will take to aquire/complete. If these need to be purchased with Soldiery tomes, thus stunting the gearing of my alts, I'll be moderately upset, in addition to feeling obligated to do it, and subsequently doing it anyways.

The only thing you get that is a bunch of angry GM's that have the right to ban you for wasting their time.

I've suggested this before- the easier atma becomes the more reasons we give SE to lower the end cap for each relic tier.

Are you sure you want to risk that?

We should have subtle tweaks to atma, or the risk of having an inferior weapon rises. Think Allaghan versus Zenith.
