    Would have I though? This is only true if time is negated and there is infinite time to capture a market. I also have direct supply through several fcs and individuals wanting to raise money for medium/large housing/buying instance clears that funnel massive amounts through me cheaper than what the mb can provide nor can the mb even provide the amount of materials im currently consuming without causing a major price shock. I look to balance the amount of work I am willing to do in the game while doing other activities such as watching daily tv etc along with gil production and resource consumption. As it stands I clear multiple millions of gil a day in profits leaving me free to stir the pot as much or as little as I wish for my own entertainment. Quiet frankly I just like getting my products into as many hands as possible while they are still relevant... aka mass production.

    As for the other guy talking about people affording pieces, right now most pieces you can get in hq form premade for a mere 1500 or so myth on the Leviathan server, a lot of folk effectively get free items just for doing the weekly solidary runs if they aren't pumping it into their relic quest

    Thanks for this Elasia! I'm just wondering when a good time to abandon the synth would be (Reclaim)? After 2-3 failes HT's seems to be the sweetspot as these would put me below the 80% mark.

    Also i noticed that i rarely got enough CP to use any of the other macro's 131 CP+ how often would you say u get to use them?

    Finnally is this macro good for HQ Terminus putty or would you suggest something else?

    I get around 50/50 on putty and take the non hq and resell it for a profit if I get over ran with it, I tend to keep around a 2k qual charge on finals and get around say a 98% hq rate these days

    I do not item reclaim anymore, I economically reclaim you could say though especially putty

    I've also since dingding's post taken to doing the good switching at the end for extra end qual hits on bb which has given a nice boost

    If you want the best macro for full on qual charge you need to do something like dingding and full handcraft just about to dynamically change areas depending on good/excellent procs, I don't do this as its taxing to always be watching instead of just at the end.. easy to cause burnout

    As far as how many times it might come up... most tend to be either 1 or 2 ToT, maybe 20% or so are no tot at all, and another 30% take on stuff with 3+ tot hits

In the end, with more money and a better crafting rotation, all I need is them to break or nq a few items and they won't compete with me again.

    They do indeed, but some tactics are much more profitable than others xD

    What you said is fine if the competitors are the ones driving the prices down with silly undercuts, I too have followed such people down to ensure they break even when their items do sell.

    But in a new market to drop prices to near cost as the sight of any competition is folly in my opinion.

    This is pretty much what I've noticed, get aggressive to freak out the newer folk that haven't bothered to read up / flush their products out then raise to a higher level and repeat, as I already posted this in another thread on market failure... even with the to cost situation... it still tends to drive a huge tawny/terminus putty secondary market that I love taking care of because once I set prices back up, a huge flood of buying happens on them and is great to reap the free gil then slam it again much the same as what happens with the materia secondary markets to a degree

    This depends on whos cost... on my server at least im the only one that even really bothers getting dedicated suppliers at rates far lower than the mb atm... my cost is not my competitors base cost for the most part... I don't really get that as there used to be 10-15 competitors looking to buy 2 star materials in rev back in 2.0, for a large part this is where I really make the gil as I simply have better buying arrangements vs needing to have huge sell margins

    I still find HQ putty best for profit just because most people have such low rates and they would have huge selling mass quantities of it. I remelded my gear and now closer to 70% HQ on even putties making it quite easy for me to make more.

    Thanks for your response. When you say "economically reclaim on putty", do you mean you only use it on Putty and not Finished products? You say your at 50/50 on putty but is that with 100% Success on all HT's? Or can you fail 1 or 2 HT's and still come up at 50%?

    Also i was confused about DingDing's good switching at the end how does this work?

    Thanks again for all your help, gonna take the Terminus Putty plunge tonight for the first time.
