I wouldn't say all of them are incapable but based on the lack of willingness to put in time im going to guess most are the wait for the echo buff types.... not the feedback i want influencing my entertainment tbh.AMEN. People just want stuff to get handed to them easily, ignoring as much of the hard work as possible.
IMO if you dont want to grind for animus go do Coils to get the better weapon and gears too, or is it that these people are incapable of doing endgame content that they troll the PD/DEVs just so that they can get handed a weapon that is not even higher(ilv) than SecondCoils

Granted this is just my personal experience, but I'm sure I'm not the only person in the world who chose to do things this way.
Also, before anythings said, I have my Atma weapon, and am just about done with my first book. it took me well over 90 hours to complete my atma weapon.
You got me at: All of my friends completed their Atma..
Have fun in WoW.. Wildstar.. ArcheAge.. please, you might find that MMO involves grinding. and RNG. Perhaps this type of game isn't made for some.
You are almost there; I would stretch, take it easy, grind a few fates in one map, do something else. It doesn't have to come out in one day, in one week. its OK. you can still play the game, plenty of other stuff to do, I'm overwhelmed.
Take a deep breath: that too shall pass, and you'll be glad you accomplished it.
Take care.
but you got it! And thats kind of the pro-atma side of things... stfu and do it. GGI think the issue isn't so much "incapable" of it or "lack of willingness", I would LOVE to do Binding Coil, but finding a decent group to go from the start is near impossible now,

as far as coil goes have you looked into FC's? i know alot of FC on my server atleast are still building multiple statics for things like coil. pugs are great for fillers but if your really interested in progression content i don't think pugs are a solid way to handle that. only because of the random factor. one day your may have a solid group the next you have 4/8 total derps and it just will not happen.
You can also use the party finder yourself to recruit people based on your needs.
I've decided that boycotting atma farming is really the best option. The main problem is RNG...if you want to make it grindy then tell me to go run 1,000 Fates in each zone, and I'd gladly do that over RNG. F*** RNG as far as I'm concerned. Until they make the drop rate significantly better, or remove the RNG aspect I'll just enjoy my other weapons.
Secondly...whoever designed FATES should be burned alive...it has to be one of the worst implemented content ideas I've ever known to exist. Low level content will never ever be fun. The whole reason I get past those low levels is so I never have to be tortured by them again.
Not about getting it handed to you its about how BORING fate grinding is that only drops like 1/50th of the time. I tell you if I had to run around for 70 hours doing something fun I wouldn't mind it. but this. nah. grinding lev is way better. thank you!AMEN. Reading the 100 or so ATMA complaint threads, I'm wondering why it's a bad thing to not clear content as soon as it's expanded. Coil, Ex Primals, main story line, etc. were all cleared a week after release. Yeah, RNG can suck if on the wrong end of the spectrum, but after you get your Animus, what are you going to do to stay occupied til the next update? Maybe, not everyone is supposed to have a legendary weapon... might be why it's so "Legendary"....
done my fair share of the long stuff. Everquest epic quests.most of those took over 6 months to do back in the day. But back then you had to wait in line and wait for hours for respawns and have a guild (FC) to get help with powerful foes. Not run around fate to fate. Im sorry to say but legendary = legendarily boring is not the way I want a game to go. maybe do treasure hunts till you find an item that drops off a certain mini boss, how about fights you can do in an instance like challage odin in a full party, maybe be part of the storyline more with going through CT for some parts. how about finding some easter egg places in the game or locations. add some gathering places for some of the pieces. anything but hours of hours of fate grinding. this quest just feels like it was put together quick to waste time till new content. I rather Yoshi P just take his time on good content not pushed out content.
At this point the Atma grind isn't even worth bitching about, complaining about it and expecting the dev team to respond is about as pointless and as big of a time sink as Atma grinding. Spending the equivalent of 80+ hours (which is about two full work weeks for most) and getting nowhere, the Atma grind transcends being fun, or rewarding into something far worse. It's a sadistic joke that'll cease to be funny to the dev team when they see a lack of subscription renewals when people realize they can play other games and have actual fun.
