Wait wait. You're telling me someone earned over 900,000 company seals in a WEEK? I'm pretty sure that works out to more than 500 FATEs per day. I hope I'm missing something.

No. The update notes state:
The Standings menu has been added to the Community page.
Users can now view Grand Company and free company standings on the Lodestone. Grand Company standings are based on seals earned, while free company standings are based on company credits earned.
* Weekly standings have been tallied from the first week of January, 2014, with monthly standings starting from January 1, 2014.
* The standings displayed on your free company profile page will represent your overall ranking among all free companies on your World.
* Standings may be affected by the transfer of characters to other Worlds, as well as changing Grand Company allegiances.
* Weekly standings are counted from Sunday at 08:00 a.m. until the following Sunday at 07:59:59 a.m. (PDT).
* Monthly standings are counted from the last day of the previous month at 8:00 a.m. until the last day of the current month at 07:59:59 a.m. (PDT).
Therefore, I will guess that at the next reset, the numbers will fall to weekly/monthly norms.I'm sure some folks will still have jaw-dropping seals/points earned! xD
Crafting, more likely.
Supply/Provisioning Missions remain the best way to gain seals. 633 seal for trading in the Militia/Crafting AF also, wouldn't be too hard to just spam that all day. Weaver's Glovers are just Crystals, Hippogryph Leather and Twinthread, things I have in ample supply, nothing really stopping me from making 100s of them (except my sanity) and earning 633 seals per.

805 for DL gear right? I roll for all loot in the HM dungeons. Heck, I roll for all green/pink gear in any dungeon for turn-ins since 2.2.
Yeah, easiest way to farm Seals. My only wish is that they'd remove gear that's in my Armoury Chest from the options to turn in, because I have no intention of turning in the gear I actually use, and with everything leveled that is a massive amount of clutter on the list of things for me to turn in now... Annoys me every time, luckily low level green/pink gear floats to the top.

I agree!! There needs to be a warning or some symbol or something like when you go to sell an item at the npc shop.Yeah, easiest way to farm Seals.
