that last part your absolutely correct. Which is the issue. Which is why i support pantheon and cant wait. The devs are hte first ones since blizzard who have had the balls to put money 2nd opposed to preserving the integrity of the genre.

TBH the majority of the playerbase (statisitcaly speaking) would like the best weapon in game sent to their mailbox... perhaps they should do this? it would make them all happy and certainly keep them subbed another month amirite?

Im done w/ the forums and this thread. It'll only deteroirate as i become more disgusted w/ the genre and the choices they continue to make based on one portion of the playerbase. jesus they try so hard to be like wow, look at the state of hte game now. Do they learn nothing or is this intended to be a few year long lifespan/bridge to ffxv?

Your argument is exactly what drives me up a wall with worshipers of Eastern MMOs and their horrific RNG system. Who here in ANY of these threads even remotely argued that Atmas should be handed to us by the delivery moogle? You deride FFXIV as some WoW clone, but I'd sooner have a flourishing WoW clone with the potential to last for years than an MMO like Wizardry Online that's being given its last rites as we speak despite outright pandering to the no-life brigade.

I think alot of people finished there Animus right now.
I even got mine today and been seeing few others. People pushed themselfs to complete them before 2.25. After that letter it was a disspointment.

Don't forget those people using the slightly derogatory term "the masses", try to remember that without the masses you wouldn't have a game, as they are the ones paying the majority of subs to keep this game a) alive and b) profitable. Should these so called "masses" decide to leave en masse (see what I did there)....the game would take a nose dive and you lucky few would have no progression at all

I'm not sure whether those defending this debacle are fanbois, brown nosers or just have no empathy for their fellow players, I tend to go with the latter. You go on about the "want it now brigade", which by the way, I haven't seen anyone in all these threads asking to be given it now, but on the other hand you are the "me, me, me brigade"...as in "I've got it, you guys must be bad players, unwashed masses, don't put the time in" and "I want my animus quests NOW". Which comes full circle as you want something now, and they want something now.

So your whining about your precious "progression" on the relic weapon being held back whilst criticizing other people for being held back by RNG, is rather hypocritical don't you think?

I kinda wish they do this...
(1) Not make it a requirement to have Zenith Equipped for obtaining Atmas in Fates.
(2) Use Atmas earned from Fates for other things then Relic Progression.
(3) Change the Myth Books objectives a bit in 2.3 when they have 3 more new dungeons. (Repeat the same dungeons & leves in all 9 books)
(4) Add il95 Stats on the ????? atma relic weapon.

After reading patch 2.25..

No mention of easing the Animus quest line for players to catch up.

Does Yoshida believe that by May, there will be significant amount of players with Animus then?

I know some of our players have been looking forward to the continuation of the Zodiac Weapons quests that I mentioned in the recent letter LIVE, but the release of these new quests has been postponed. Our reasoning for this decision is, in brief:

• Many players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon.
• We would like to incorporate feedback regarding the difficulty of the Zodiac Weapon quests.
• We are working to increase the number of locations where materials for the next upgrade can be obtained.

I apologize for the delay, but those of you looking to obtain the power of "Novus" will be able to do so in patch 2.28, scheduled to release in May.

Face it... They had to divert dev resources from the Novus part to make changes to Atma/Animus based on feedback and additional changes to Novus, also based on that feedback.
Saying they should release Novus now and add changes in 2.28 is simply meaningless as it's not ready to be released.

Cool reallocation of resources, I especially loved the part where they changed the icons of atma, also known as the only part.
