The source is the INEGI. Conteo de Población y Vivienda, Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática. The Mexican Census Bureau.

I'm not saying it's not true, just anyone can modify information on wikipedia. It's not a good source. And census is never truly correct.

Exactly the feeling... I know of a few spaniards that love so much this game, that even if they don't know English, they are trying their best... Most of the time I'm having to translate them some quests because they don't know what to do.... (One of them had to wait for me to connect for complete the one in Camp Drybone, "Dressed to deceive" where you have to equip a wheaatered thingy for do it... No intuition works there, he was totally lost.)

This made me laugh, nice one. Mcshiggs!... I'll average-translate it... "Por favor seguid a la espera"
not correct translation but more or less that's what it means for me. Now you have it translated
    Yoshi-san!... It's a start!

A lot of Latinamericans can't learn english, or the education system isnt good enough to teach english or other languages. Sadly a lot of people has bad grammar even in Spanish!

In my opinion Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn does need a Spanish version if they want that the game grow in Latin America.

EDIT: that remembers me, one of the most popular mmo here is LoL, and im sure that most of it is because is fully translated with voice overs in Spanish.
Pure truth, total agree. As I said in the original thread....The countries that speak spanish usually have everything translated to their language, everything, they are not so familiarized with the English like the other countries, it is a total different language and unknown for most of the people. And you can't play something you don't understand....

As someone said there before "You'd had to beat League of Legends and those games that are more popular there... Yes, they are more popular because are translated, maybe?...Not because the type of game. You can't say that all the whole south america loves the games like LoL and discard FFXIV, game would have a super influx of players if it would be translated, only that Square Enix doesn't share that vision.

I'm sorry but that's wrong. Most of people who speak Spanish, doesn't have any idea of "Inglish". It is a miracle if some of us understand a little of the language....In my case it is funny, I understand the written English, but can't maintain a conversation in English with anyone because I don't know the listening/speaking... That's how much different our language is from English.

PS: Common knowledge, you don't really need such things like a census... Basically just live here and see how many people use English in their day to day or know it. Amount of them is ... almost null.

PS 2: Servers like Ragnarok have a lot of Spaniard people... Do you want to know that? Because when someone asks in the forum "Hey, I'd like to play FFXIV but I don't have any idea of English... Is there any good spaniard community?" People says Ragnarok, because together we can help those who doesn't know the language but they will to play almost blind here, I'm trying to help also a group of spaniards in Zodiark.

I even had to do a own-made translation of 2.2 patchnotes (Not fully released ones) to a friend, taking almost an hour, so he'd understand what's new in the game...
