Is it really that hard for people to wrap their heads around the idea that the REALLY TEDIOUS ATMA AND MYTH GRIND has either
a) turned a lot of people off working on their weapons
or b) was just too damn tight on the RNG to allow enough people to finish

There's every possibility that the next stage will involve group content. If there are not enough players doing it then that becomes a massive problem. Let them fix it, stop complaining, it's for your own good.

I doubt it will be group content. Simply because the current other 2 methods of obtaining higher level weapons already involves group content, and the whole point of Zodiac weapon is to provide players an alternative route to obtain higher level weapons, and probably at their own pace. Not everyone has the time to form a static to do coil for coil weapon, nor had the time or even enough skill to queue Levi EX for Tidal weapons. So you have Relic, which is essentially a solo content that is "masses friendly".

Content was awful, people chose not to do it or got boned by RNG or both. They're trying to avoid making the same mistake again. How is that hard to understand?

Let me give you a hint what SE's main concern here is: money, and by extension, keeping the playerbase happy.

that last part your absolutely correct. Which is the issue. Which is why i support pantheon and cant wait. The devs are hte first ones since blizzard who have had the balls to put money 2nd opposed to preserving the integrity of the genre.

TBH the majority of the playerbase (statisitcaly speaking) would like the best weapon in game sent to their mailbox... perhaps they should do this? it would make them all happy and certainly keep them subbed another month amirite?

Im done w/ the forums and this thread. It'll only deteroirate as i become more disgusted w/ the genre and the choices they continue to make based on one portion of the playerbase. jesus they try so hard to be like wow, look at the state of hte game now. Do they learn nothing or is this intended to be a few year long lifespan/bridge to ffxv?

What I was comparing was Titan EX to Levi EX, where Levi EX is the new content for the Primal EX line. T6 was compared to T5, which is the new content for the Binding coil line. What I said was despite having a large chunk of people not completing both Primal EX and Binding Coil: Ragnarok content, new contents for both series are being released while the older contents are eased for the masses.

You were saying that Primal EX and Coil takes skill - which I said the skill talk was irrelevant because it would have made it even funnier - because Animus quest doesn't take skill. It takes time and a little of luck. And still I don't see anything related here be it skill or luck - my whole point is I don't see why SE has to stop other people's progression on Relic just because the masses doesn't have Animus yet. Which I call it double standard because they didn't do so for Coil and Primal EX. There's no dispute for that for the fact that they did release new contents for Primal EX and Coil series despite the masses not able to clear it yet.

The only good point that was raised to what I said was from Musashidon: which he says that Primal EX and Coil had a 3/6 months gap while the Animus questline existed for only 1 month now, which I could agree with him.

you say not everyone beat coil t5 but t6-9 is now out.

are you saying you can compare something that was given 6 months to something that was give 1?

yea it would be double standard if coil t6-9 was released 1 month after coil t1-5 and only BG had beaten it. but that's not what happened they wanted to extend the quest but decided against it because it was to early they hadn't even adjusted it. like t5 it got plenty of nerfs before t6 came out, now i am not saying atma and animus have to be nerfed alot because the next part comes out but to compare 1 month to 6 months is two different things.

when you have people that play maybe a couple hours a day or maybe 10 hours a week 6 months is alot more time then 1 month the difference in what a player can do is immense.
